This wet, muddy weather has caused an influx of slip injuries in both horses and dogs (probably their humans too!). Be aware of lameness and particularly after getting up after a rest. This wet, muddy weather has caused an influx of slip injuries in both horses and dogs (probably their humans too!). Guess the breed?
The beautiful Pan and his huge trot! I’m just about getting used to the power of his hind leg and then we will work on his head carriage but this is more relaxed than it was at first as his back has got stronger. Rome wasn’t built in a day as muscles take time to develop but I’m really enjoying him and building our partnership.... if I can just work out how to discourage him from trying to undo the girth straps when he deems we have stood still for too long!🤣
This girl needed a bit strengthening, so luckily she’s in training with an open minded East Lothian horse trainer - who is doing a great job with her physio homework.
A good exercise to try!
