Little Italy Pizzeria

Intimate Italian restaurant. Very popular, with a regular following. Modestly priced, good quality Italian dishes.

We dropped by on Saturday night about 7 and were offered 2 window seats overlooking Byres Road. The gambas pil pil (prawns in chilli & garlic flavoured oil) was delicious. Really nice house red wine and friendly staff. They have an upstairs too for more formal dining. Cracking wee cafe.

Great for pizza and coffee! Nice sport to watch passers by while having a munch :)

Such a lovely place, delightful staff and the pizza and apple pie were both delicious!

Pizza was oily, the crust soggy and average, and the tomato sauce was not tasting right. I think the pizza was made in a regular industrial oven, not wood fired as I expected from a proper Italian pizzeria. There must be better pizza in Glasgow - just came from Edinburgh where I arguably had the best pizza I ever ate (even in Italy) at Pizza Posto, and much cheaper. I'm still hoping I will find a similar joint in Glasgow! But this one - not for me.

Outstanding pizza and pasta with quite possibly the best coffee in the city to boot!

The staff are always extremely friendly and welcoming, can't recommend this place enough!

I have never tasted coffee so good, the pizza far beats Domino's or in fact anywhere else that I've tried.

Only negative is that the staff want to grab your plates before your finished your food.

Expanded in size in the last year, utilising the high Victorian ceilings and a great new layout thoughtfully designed. Pizzas pastas and great Italian dishes with Scottish twists. Excellent staff who make it even better to be here.
