Little Solutions provides tailored support and solutions to families with Newborns, Babies and Toddlers within Edinburgh, the Lothian's and Borders.

Karen set up Little Solutions after 15yrs of looking after babies and young children. After training and qualifying at the prestigious Norland College she amassed vast experience with multiples including triplets and has cared for many premature and low birth weight babies, she also has also gained valuable experience in identifying and resolving issues.

In 2015 with a very busy work load it was decided to begin working with Lynne Brown, another highly experience and qualified professional in the field. This has allowed the area we cover to grow and to have to the capacity to assist more families.

Maternity nursing forms a key element of the service provided. A maternity nurse is a specialist in the care of newborn babies. Also providing advice and support to postnatal mothers discussing and helping with all key areas of your young baby including feeding, routines and sleep.

We also work to resolve problems with many families when things aren’t going well. Often with sleepless nights or feeding issues but also lots of other child related hurdles such as weaning, toilet training and family change. We look at what will work best for you and your baby /child to bring harmony back in to the home.

Having a family ourselves has taught us first-hand about being a mum and whilst this is very rewarding we fully understand the challenges that this brings and the benefits of establishing positive habits.
