About Living In Harmony

Living in Harmony is a network of local organisations aiming to create a welcoming and inclusive north Edinburgh where services are accessible to all.

Living In Harmony Description

Living in Harmony aims to create a welcoming and inclusive north Edinburgh where services are accessible for all.

We are a network of people who live and /or work for organisations in the area.

We believe that the diversity of North Edinburgh is one of its strengths and that you do not need to be an expert to respect or get to know people different from you.

We want to create spaces, events, groups and activities that give people the chance to get to know each other.

We also want to address barriers to accessing services experienced by people from Black, Asian or Ethnic Minority backgrounds, and work together to come up with better more inclusive ways of working.

On this page you can find out about all sorts of events and groups related to Living in Harmony. Anyone posting events or services on here should be working towards the goal of more understanding and social inclusion in the area.

Our partner organisations include the Granton Library, the Muirhouse Library, North Edinburgh Arts Centre, the North Edinburgh Timebank, Pilton Youth and Children’s Project, West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre, Royston Wardieburn Community Centre and Granton Youth Centre.

The work is managed by Pilton Community Health Project.

A steering group including North Edinburgh Timebank, Community Learning and Development, Forth Neighbourhood Partnership, Pilton Youth and Children's Project, Spartans Football Club and Pilton Community Health Project oversee the work.
