Some customer feedback this week.

Our customer Mr Henderson has a beautiful old Victorian house with an old lock that has seen better days. He asked us to fit a dead lock that was to British standards for insurance purposes. We also fitted a rebate kit leaving our customer safe in the knowledge that he is now fully covered.

Saltcoats emergency today for a local hair and nail bar. Their upvc door had jammed and they could not get out and their customers could not get in. Unfortunately their old three piece multipoint is no longer in use so we fitted a brand new multipoint. So the ladys of Saltcoats can rest easy 😃 business as usual at the nail bar...

Mr Murray from Ireland was heading for the ferry back to the Emerald Isle when he closed the door on his holiday home only for the multipoint to break. That's when he called Livingstones Locks. We where there in less than 15 minutes to repair the broken spindal component and give Mr Murray enough time to catch the ferry home. 😊

Mrs Holland an elderly lady from Kilmarnock, was worried about her security as her metal gate lock was not working. Instead of putting on a expensive new gate lock we stripped down the lock repaired and refurbished working perfectly now. Happy customer

Here are some of the different gearboxes we changed today. Most major problems on double glazed and wooden door multipoints will be caused by the gearbox. So no need to renew the door, just call us for the repair 😃

We also replace handles for when they are getting loose and worn over time or as our customer says 'wonky' Here is a before and after. Notice how the handle now sits nice and straight.
