This unique self catering property near Ullapool stands in its on private grounds with spectacular views of the surrounding hills and mountains. The front of the lodge ha a fabulous vantage point on which to watch life on the search of loch broom – local fishing boats, and pleasure boats making their way to and from the Summer Isles, visiting yachts & cruise ships in the summer make interesting viewing. The ferry connecting the mainland to the Outer Hebrides to Stornoway ploughs its way past the lodge twice a day.
Across the lochs stand the mountains of Beinn Ghobhlach and An Teallach, which are wonderful for hillwalkers and climbers. To the west you look over the mouth of the loch to the Summer Isles and you can experience the great sun sets
Ullapool is only a 20 minute walk from the lodge down across our croft land and along the shore passing no. 3 on the links golf, past the river mouth and its salmon and trout fishers over the "little bridges" and you there! Or Less than 5 minute by car. When there you can visit the fine selection of shops, bars, restaurants or have a coffee in one of the many cafe's and watch the local boats land their catch (prawns, lobsters, crabs).
Activities are countless - Touring, Sightseeing, Walking, Cruising (for the more leisurely) or anything, Shooting, Sailing, Tennis, Golf or a little Munro bagging?
Lochbroom Lodge (the building) has an east and a west wing, both absolutely self-contained in their own right offering accommodation for groups of up to 17 persons, or family sized parties. The East wing sleeps 10 adults , the West wing sleeps 7 adults.
