Love this place and go all the time as it is in a beautiful location and is fabulous for walking our dog and then having some lunch/shopping. Waited on a table for 40 mins with my husband and daughter yesterday then after the waitress took our order she came back after another 40 mins and said that my daughters meal was off the menu, so she did without her meal. We were then overcharged when we bought cakes at the shop. Phoned to complain and was cutoff. Not happy .

Great go to place. Serves good food and their shop has loads of interesting goodies. They sell greeting cards, great choice and very different.

Lovely views but cake portions too big.

I love going out for coffee and cake but the portions here are way too big. A cake should be a wee treat not a huge slab.

Please offer smaller cakes or smaller slices. ( even half portions) I'm sure many of your customers would appreciate it- try it and see.

Beautiful setting here for a busy restaurant/ gift shop. Large parking area affording lovely gentle walks along to Loch Leven. Great for dog walkers. Good photo opportunities too.
Shop is well stocked with great array of goodies crafts and children's paraphanalia.Costume jewelry cards and books.
Restaurant has a wide varied menu offering local salmon afternoon tea platters and various main courses or snacks. A grand day out for all the family!

I ordered the beef tomato, mozzarella and pesto burger. I then received a little bun on a plate. I looked and saw that I had mistakenly ordered a "beef tomato" burger. I got 1 tomato, a spread of pesto, a sprinkle of mozzarella, oh and a few leafs on a bun basically 😂. The tomato wasn't even cooked, the bun small, there were no extra's on plate, don't think for a second that chips or salad are gonna be there. I paid £8.50 for this delight! Whilst paying I gave the staff a £20 note, I then heard oh thank you for the tip to which I said please can I have my change! I then proceeded to tip the guy £3 as not his fault the food not great.

Very popular farm shop/coffee/lunch venue close to Loch Leven - with great views. Varied menu from soup to sandwiches and salads, as well as a good selection of cakes and pastries. Often queues at popular times but there is an electronic tag waiting list that allows you to look round the shop/delicatessen while you're waiting. Tip - if the weather allows try the outside tables as they're usually free. You can order at the till and they will deliver to your numbered table.

The atmosphere was nice and relaxed even though it was busy. The food was really good.

The food is great, coffee excellent and gift shop lovely. Also has good food shop and plenty of local produce. Dog friendly too.

Previously I would have given 5*, but they now allow dogs in the restaurant. Not much fun if you have an allergy or simply would rather not have lunch sitting beside someone else's wet dog. Didn't discover this until pooch arrived at the table next to us. Won't be back.

Been coming here for years, consistently excellent. Unlike a lot of places they continue to improve. Kids love being able to sit out looking over the loch and playing, they can never decide which ice cream flavour to have from the kiosk.
