elf, my partner and our three children visited Loch Lomond Holiday Park at the weekend, and before I write my review, I would like to point out that the location was gorgeous, lodge was super clean, the beds were comfortable and the local area is quite exceptional.

HOWEVER, the noise was completely unacceptable the second night that we stayed here. My family and I were on a three day trip to Loch Lomond to provide an escape from some unfortunate family matters and your website promised a ‘tranquil escape’, this was not the case on Saturday night.

When we got back to our Lodge it was around 1030pm and we could already hear partying in the lodge next to us. However, we decided to try and ignore it for a while since it was before midnight. The noise only got louder and louder with girls screaming and music booming.

Just after midnight I decided to give reception a call asking if they could lower the noise...after 20 minutes nothing changed, the partying only got louder so I called again. Another 20 minutes went by and the noise still hadn’t gone down. The noise went on well past 3am in the morning, when I finally fell asleep.

I’m not a person to usually complain, but I feel that it is unacceptable to put up with this sort of noise, and this group of girls ruined our holiday. Your staff were friendly when I phoned to complain, and whenever we checked out, but unfortunately our ‘neighbours’ put a dampener on our stay. To say the least, our whole family got little sleep that night and we were very disappointed.

User

We were up visiting family and had a lovely time. Nice and quiet site so ideal if your looking for a peaceful break. My young daughter loved the swings.

User

We visited this holiday park in March and absolutely loved it. The views and scenery are breathtakingly beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our lodge was spotless and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. You even managed to arrange the weather for us! We cannot wait to return and have recommended you to all of our friends

User

We stayed here for 6 nights recently and we were so impressed with how lovely it is. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the lodge was clean, great views, plus nice little touches like tea, coffee, sugar, etc laid out, even dog biscuits and a dog towel for our dog! We found it very quiet and relaxing, and the lodge was comfortable and fitted with all we needed when we wished to make our own dinner at night.

The only minor complaint I have is the shower at regular intervals went cold on us, which isn't great for small children. But that's literally the only negative.

I want to thank the staff at reception also for opening the shop one night past closing hours as we realised we didn't have enough food in for dinner (too carried away at Falloch Falls!) and for their general help and information on taxis, etc...

I would recommend this place to anybody who wanted to stay in Loch Lomond.

User

We stayed here for 4 nights in february in a lomond royal lodge.

The drive to the park is breathtaking, but the view from our lodge was even better.

The lodge itself was amazing, spacious clean and very warm.

The park itself doesnt have much to do,however with views like we had we didnt care.

The staff were very nice and very helpful.

If you are taking children there isint alot to do onsite, but plenty of things within a half an hour drive. We would recommend helensbourgh.

The hot tub was warm and maintained everyday.

My only little criticisim is that we were without oven trays so i used the grill pan,i cooked a chicken and ruined the tray,i rang up and confessed and the staff were amazing about it,no charge was made to replace,we were also without a bottle opener, however if we asked im sure we would have been given one.

overall an extremely enjoyable holiday and we will definately be returning.

User

We have just got home from a 3 night break at Loch Lomond Holiday Park as a very last minute break (booked on the afternoon we arrived)

We absolutely loved it, the lodge was beyond expectations with amazing decor and furniture, a beautiful fire place, decking, outdoor seating, dressing gowns and slippers for the whole party and an enormous hot tub.

The views are to die for and as we had children with us there was plenty for us to explore on the beach and in the play area.

It was ideally located for us to travel to lots of places.

If you are looking to relax or explore this is the perfect retreat.

Thank you for an amazing weekend x

User

Such a beautiful park in a lovely location. Our lodge was amazing with gorgeous views. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend this park to my friends and family of all ages. Can't wait to come back.

User

Marvellous accommodation and services. Enchanting scenery and local villages and restaurants surprise and delight! Spent a long weekend in April , long to return to Loch Lomond and this beautiful site.

Five of us shared a caravan here. Facilities were good, staff helpful.

User

Loch Lomond Holiday park is the ideal location for a family to come and enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors. There is loads to do you whether it is climb a munro, cycle to loch sloy or hire a kayak and experience the loch. Great fun great accommodation

User

Just returned from our break at Loch Lomond Holiday Park. We stayed in 2 bedroom Royal Lomond Lodge with magnificent views across the loch from the balcony and hot tub - just stunning. The lodge itself was perfect - excellent condition and well maintained with two en-suite bathrooms. Both had big walk in showers complete with the softest bathrobes and slippers. The little extra touches of robes, tea, coffee and little toiletries in the bathroom make this accommodation a little more special from any other lodge or park we have stayed and exceeded our expectations. The park itself is very quiet - perfect for a relaxing break and a short walk takes you to the lochs edge. Finally, the staff - each and every person we met was helpful, friendly and went our their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We will most definitely be back.

User

Just home from a stay at the Inveruglas Cottage, what a homely, welcoming place to stay. The facilities in the cottage were fantastic with the added bonus of the sauna and whirlpool bath, which were both well used during our stay. Having our own enclosed garden was great for Charlie dog. Staff were professional and very helpful. Waking up to the views of the loch and hills beyond was a very relaxing experience.

User

Just back from from a fantastic week spent at loch lomond holiday park. We stayed in a ben lomond cabin on the water front and it was more than excellent. The kitchen was better equiped than our own, the beds were comfier than ours and the view was spectacular. The staff (especially the maintenace man from cornwall) were briliant nothing was too much trouble. Were were devastated to leave but we will return. If your comming here expecting an onsite pub, entertainment and fun night life then this isnt for you. If your comming here to listen to the water lapping the beach, the sound if the occasional boat amd some peace and quiet with a lovely view then book now. The 24 hr pool room with full sky package is a great touch also. !!!WARNING!!! You will want to buy a van or cabin here. Balloch, Helensburgh and Dunbarton are all.with in 30 mins drive so your far enough away to be not too far away.

Thanks

Just back from a 5 night stay in the 4 Bedroom, Lomond Royal Lodge with Hot Tub. What can I say - I was staying with my husband, 3 children, grandson and daughter in law. Our stay was absolutely amazing! The lodge totally exceeded all our expectations. It is huge inside and with 4 ensuite bathrooms everyone had their own space. The facilities in the lodge were probably better than we have at home and the beds were amazing. Cleanliness was second to none. The hot tub was magical and many fun times were had and special memories made. The park itself is beautiful, tranquil, 360 degree scenery all around and perfect for a relaxing break. We were all so sad to leave and will 100% be booking again. Reception and park staff were great, always someone on hand and they offer on site water sports. My family went kayaking which was very reasonably priced and had such fun. Pool table also available 24 hours and a small play area for the kids. Perfect family holiday - thank you so much !!!!

User

Just back from Loch Lomond holiday park and we had a great weekend. The lodge was amazing shame the previous tenants didn't have the respect for it but when we arrived the on site staff dealt with the situation amazingly well. The hot tub is definitely the highlight and even although it rained it was still amazing.

The views and walks are fabulous,we had a great family chilled out weekend.

User

I was very lucky to win a mini moon here. We had the most incredible time there. We had a Royal Lodge and had our own hot tub. It was amazing! The views were incredible and the staff were friendly and helpful! The only thing is - it is easier to go with a car as you are quite remote from everything. Thank you so much for an amazing time Loch Lomond!

User

Great lodge, clean and all mod cons, outdoor decking topped it all. Beds were so comfy my son loved it. Biscuits tea sugar etc nice touch too. Great friendly staff nothing too much trouble. Gorgeous views of the Loch and rolling hills, very tranquil just what we wanted. Great to have free pick up and drop off with the Slanj restaurant just called them they came picked us up at holiday park and had lovely evening. Huge thanks as well as I left some clothes behind and are now in process of being posted to me, hugely appreciated. First time at Loch Lomond but we will be back.

User

Didn't want to leave! The site was fantastic and had all of the facilities you could need. We were staying in the Aye Pod which was amazing! It had everything we needed and I could have easily stayed much longer than a couple of nights. All of the staff were absolutely fab and were so helpful. I was introduced to kayaking and paddle boarding and I loved it so much that I'm going to take it up back home! Such a fab short break and we will be back soon!!

User

Me and my husband are just back from a 3 day holiday get away from kids, the lodge we stayed in was great, beautiful bathroom sauna and whirlpool bath was fab, rest of lodge was great as well comfortable bed everything was clean and had everything in kitchen for making a good meal and fantastic veiw from our patio only criticism was the patio was very slippery.

The rest of park was small but nice lovely views of loch lomond all round, although it was a bit close to main road and rail tracks than i would have liked, also when going for walk or cycle when you leave park there is no walk path for a while and you have to cross road on bad bend.

The women in main office was very friendly and helpful and they also had little things in wee shop if you have forgotten anything like suger ect. At back of my office they have a pool table that could with some work like new pool cues also had sky in there for football. You can also hire boats and all different water sport's lesson 5 miles up the road at good price.

All in all it was a great quite relaxing get away i would definitely recommend it for adults, wouldn't say it that good for young kids all tho they have little park. Thanks for lovely holiday x

User

Lovely site situated on the loch however for motorhomes there is a lot of road and rail noise overnight and the toilets however nice one shower and two toilets is not enough for over 10 motorhomes I have paid less for better sites not one I will return to in a hurry
