We have been 3 times in the last few months as our little boy loves it! There are always deals on so we have never paid full price. Today was fantastic, the Halloween hunt and meeting the witch was brilliant, my little boy loved the sea witches stories ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į x

User

We have an annual pass so itŌĆÖs excellent value for us. Our baby daughter is mesmerised by the displays! (so are we!). We visit almost weekly and always enjoy it. Staff are always very friendly too.

User

We had a fab time here when visiting Scotland. We got our tickets from the local Tourist Info Shop and tickets were very reasonable. Amazing collection but it's worth the ticket price just for the shark tank. The cafe has the most spectacular views over the Loch, we could have sat there all day, even our little boy (3) said wow when he saw it. It's not the biggest of attractions but we went around twice and saw a lot more the second time as we rushed around a little the first time as we were excited to explore. If we visit the area again we will definitely pay another visit.

User

Took our two grandkids yesterday. Booked tickets online which was hassle free and we saved about 25%. Excellent value for money. Great fish! And lovely young men and women working there who were very chatty and extremely knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. We all had a great day. Thank you.

User

Not our first time here but itŌĆÖs brilliant every time we go. We have always found the staff helpful and they try to keep the shows entertaining and informative. Our son loves talking with the staff and theyŌĆÖre always very receptive to the kids, as well as generally polite and welcoming. The cafe has always been kept in good order with nice food and friendly staff.

User

My two children , wife and myself were also there yesterday and found it really entertaining. We paid the extra ┬Ż3 for the sea life guide book , it shows that there are different attractions on at certain times and that you could watch them feeding them. The guide book also offers specials at the shops as well as a free ticket on your next visit.

The restraunt was really good with some variety of food that caters for everyone.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and very knowledgeable at their jobs. My daughter 10 was given a dive adventure quiz trail scratch card , supplied by the front desk free of charge that kept her busy and my baby boy 1was absolutely amazed at the creatures and their habitats.

We all enjoyed it and will certainly be back for more.

User

It is so good ’┐Į I loved it you can go in to a tunlle and there are sharks ’┐Į up the top of you omg is so good

User

I have taken my children here twice so far as we have the summer holiday passes!!! ItŌĆÖs a small friendly aquarium, the staff are really nice & all of the sea creatures look happy & well cared for.

Definitely a lovely family day out & will be coming back to visit lots more!!!

User

However.....the price was ridiculous! We visited on Saturday 24th February as a treat for our 2 Grandsons who live locally, as we were visiting for the weekend from England. I'm over 60 but was told no concessions. For 2 adults and 2 children (5 and 8 ) it was almost ┬Ż50. One of my Grandsons is autistic so I appreciated the all day pass but overall it was poor value for money. Have been to other Sea Life Centres which were far better.

However the aquariums were lovely and my Grandson loved the bubble tubes and globe aquariums.

User

Good size for young kids. Visited with 6, 4, and 2 year old and a baby. Interesting talks happening through the day and good information screens at all of the tanks. A bit neat to navigate with a pram but it was a bank holiday Monday so very busy. Would have been easier if it wasn't so packed.

If you get the vouchers from Kelloggs cereal or snacks you can get free adult or child ticket with a paying child .

User

Visited today for the first time with our almost 5 year old and our 16 month old sons.

Took over an hour to get there. Looked bigger on the outside than it was inside. Felt it was very small and would have been more to see. It was a shame the rock pools were closed so kids couldn't see / touch.

Although small and can go round very very quickly both boys did enjoy and love seeing the fish. They were very impressed and you could tell by their smiles.

I can't comment on the food in cafe as we brought our own and ate our sandwiches outside.

The lego exhibition was OK and my son was happy to build a few little toys.

We didn't buy from the gift shop so unsure of the prices but looked like a nice selection of different things to purchase.

It was a good day for the boys but I'm glad we had a voucher for half price tickets. Full price for a family for the size I feel is quite expensive.

All in all a good day though.

We will mayb try a different aquarium next time though.

User

Not a lot to do. Glad we had tickets from the cereal packets and a toddler ticket. Staff were fantastic though but not very good value for money

User

Mostly I would like to offer feedback on the shop. Disappointed by the abundance of plastic toys, which are likely to have a limited life span in terms of play beyond the immediate request for a toy from the shop. Total lack of anything educational, surely a sealife centre should be stocking less plastic and more useful toys and books, such as guidebooks to the seashore and rock pooling, books about fish and sea mammals, global warming/ environmental issues etc to encourage young ones to continue their learning about marine life.

User

Thought it was overpriced. Took 4 children for a 'day out' the place is so small we were in and out in 35mins. And that was going round twice. Drove over an hr thinking their would be a full hr or 2 worth or stuff to do. Very poor!

Food was way over priced. 5 portions of chips and 5 bottles of juice ┬Ż24.

Wont be back

User

visited yesterday, complete waste of 60 mile drive, firstly road signs are non existent, directions on web site are wrong as there is obviously an extra roundabout since they were put up so 2nd roundabout left after the big roundabout now takes you the wrong way. actual aquarium is small, very little to see, bored fish going round and round in circles, We then went outside, rides eyc around the place are way overpriced ┬Ż2.50 for a 2 minute ride on a racing car ride near the carpark!! Some of the signs around the park clearly face the wrong way, dog mess on the path from car park. On the plus side the view is good but would not go again and would certainly not reccomend it

User

Took the kids today because it was pouring down ! The place is a joke takes 10 minutes to walk around and the prices are shocking for 2 adults and one kid I was 37.50 ! Can honestly say it was the worst 40 pound I have ever spent and I donŌĆÖt know how u can get away with charging they prices for the place being that small and quick to get round !!!

User

Took my two grandchildren aged 4&6years.

I would say itŌĆÖs to small and your in and out in no time.

Only one person working the desk to pay in so quite a que.

The Lego event is a bit of a joke.

Spot a Lego items in the tanks, then take your leaflet up to the 3rd ( right through the cafe) surprise surprise to go into a small room where thereŌĆÖs a paddling pool filled with Lego to play with and on a table 5 buckets to build your own tiny wee Lego man

which your allowed to take home:-(

Exit through the shop which is full of plastic toys or soft toys.

Not really that impressed with this sea life centre:-(

Cut short, over priced and way to small.

User

Really poor value for money. Not much to see and really not great accessibility with prams/wheelchairs. Last aquarium I was at was the Exploris in Portaferry- much much more to see/do and far, far cheaper. Was so disappointed today. Really, give this venue a big miss.

User

It gets one star because it will not let me give it no stars , it must be the smallest sea life in the UK as it took 20 mins to see everything !!! glad I didn't pay the full ┬Ż13-95 as it is the reduced price was still daylight robbery, if it had cost ┬Ż5 that would still have been expensive WOULD NOT RECCOMEND to my worst enemy
