A last minute repair one evening this week to a broken control arm mount on this 1930 ford model A. Claus and his wife have driven here from the north of Sweden to do the Islay whisky tour. Busy afternoon bending 2" stock. Time to empty the shelf and put all these away and fill it up with the next batch of parts. #lochaberstainless #production #manufacturing #mandrelbent #stainlesssteel #tube

What do you do when you can bend tube, but can't bend a tight enough radius? Thats right, pie cuts! Time consuming but the only way to get through such a tight path through the bike. 5.2m of weld in total and over 30 parts, all in a 1m exhaust! Time (and gas!) consuming for sure but quite an interesting challenge. Front pipe assembly for a KTM LC4. Video in comments.

Rover V8 engine block came in with two cracks between the core plugs thanks to the cold snap we've been having. Did my best to salvage it, given the cost of getting a low mileage replacement it was worth a try. Now for the customer to have it cut back and shaped to take the new plugs. Hope it works 🤞
