Hi all registered boxers I am going to start matchmaking for the home show, let's have a good turn out on Friday so I can make a list of all who are wanting on. There will be no more than 14 bouts on the night and only those who are up for it and regularly training will be considered. From Jerry Team Lochee 👊👊

Happy New Year everyone!! Boxing starts back on Monday the 7th for registered boxers, and over 16,s 6pm to 7.30 pm Kids class for unregistered boxers under 16 starts back on Wednesday the 9th 5pm to 6pm 👊👊

Boxing is cancelled this Wednesday and will start back on the 7th of January have a great Xmas and New year 👊👊

All the best to Aaron Aimer and Logan Howett who are representing the club on the Kincorth show in Aberdeen tonight. Both lads up against home boxers with Logan topping the bill in his second senior bout against the current district champion Cmon Lochee 👊👊

Good night up in Aberdeen on the Byron show, first up was Luca Flynn who won by points in a good entertaining bout, next up was Lennon Mitchell who lost by split decision to a very good opponent from insch, and last up was Logan Howett who won on points with a great performance. Unfortunately Stuart Hendry and Lennon Bells bouts were cancelled.

Attention registered boxers Declaration of Arbroath club have invited us through for sparring on Sunday 4pm anyone interested ???

After 2 weekends of novice championship boxing at Ravenscraig, we emerged with 2 medalists Kaleb stewart won gold and Aaron Aimer won silver, we had 9 entered and every one done themselves and the club proud giving their all and earning valuable experience for the future onwards and upwards Team Lochee 👊👊

My uncle james lived for the club now and forever . As always . Sadly as mum dad wee james and me were in South africa it was difficult been so far away been back 20 years now and l am a stranger to all my cousins on all family sides. But my mum is Effie the last surviving munro clan as l we know it. Mum is and has been my life since the car accident at 53 mum survived but could not carry on her business interests. I decided their and then to take over. Even now to her bitter end is mum fighting for life but doing it with great dignity and courage. I will always love uncle james in my own way which nobody can take away from me sadly there is no communication only William in Australia after all blood is blood. Mum aunty effie is the last of the strong Munro and jack before that. I hope a pray my uncle is resting now with granny munro granpa jock above together just waiting when mum will join them . Mum l do love u with all my heart crying like a banjee at the moment. Mum l want you to rest through all this pain and suffering just me being very very tired drained physical ly and emotionally today. Of all days. Every morning l descend from upstairs right above mum to each day has mum slipped away but no still here suffering and l ask mum who were you last night mum would say I was with grannie and grandpa lochee shopping going to coop butchers and to get material for new curtains granny had new curtains for winter and summer . Then mum would we all went for a cuppa char and blether. The mum would say cuppa char please then my porridge oats and honey milk getting ready for the love mum always been blessed millions of times over that you had me and James love u trillion times.

Jack was allowed to come and train as a guest whilst on holiday.He was made to feel really welcome and the coaching staff even took time out to coach him.great club

I started boxing at lochee in the 90s ..I was there for about 5 years ....loved it ...my kickboxing club now train out of lochee boys club ...I always watch the boxers training....great coaches ..fantastic facilities ..and some amazing boxers ....

Great people carol and Elaine do a fab job for the girls boxing

Been down to see these guys for some photography for a project. Great place and everyone so welcoming. Hope to see you all again soon..
