Was working late Sunday night, the kids phoned me and said "If you hurry home we have booked at Logan's for 8pm.". Just go yourselves I said. I have never been and don't fancy it. Anyway I went and was thoroughly delighted with both the meal and the service. Extremely friendly staff and great food. I would recommend this establishment to everyone.

The service and the food were excellent and wasn't too expensive either couldn't fault anything also on leaving got a discount voucher if we book another overnight within 3 months ideal will probably go back

Stayed overnight and had dinner in Logans restaurant...friendly staff excellent service..steak cooked perfectly and Chicken Tempura starter was very tasty...have stayed at Carlton before and Logans restaurant always comes up trumps..freshly cooked breakfast in morning is so much better than buffet hot breakfast..all in all another enjoyable experience.

Spent a few hours here today, on comfy seats with lovely big windows and sun shining in, waiting on my car being serviced and mot’d. Great service, helpful staff, really good food and spotlessly clean. Thank you. Hope to be back soon.

One of my fav..no I'd say Logan's is my favourite place for food..what an amazing chef/chefs for all the creations they serve up..it is named after my home town ..well done to all the team at the Carlton...��

Met up with friends for a carvery lunch, we were most impressed!!! Lovely setting, good food, friendly and efficient staff and not hassled to vacate after our meal....excellent value for money, we also checked out room costs for the odd weekend away and will definitely be making a return visit..thank you Carlton �

Lovely meal as always. Open lasagne with lobster & tiger prawns is a must if you like shell fish. Chicken tempura was a huge portion. Totally recommend Logan's, Carlton Hotel for lunch or dinner

As my husband and I were the first couple to have our Wedding at the 'old' Carlton on 3rd July, 1993 we decided that the only place we would want to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary would be back there !!

Ourselves and our guests had a fantastic evening - the food was absolutely lovely, the staff were so courteous and helpful, everything I asked was no bother at all to any of them.

Thank you to each & every one of you, for making our celebrations so memorable for us.

Went on New Year’s Day for an early dinner. 2 courses for £20.95. Lovely food and good service by lovely young staff. We eat here regularily and are never disappointed. Well done everyone.

Walked in off the street with my mum and sister for a coffee and even tho we hadn't booked it was not an issue to serve us, only downside was we had to ask the waitress to take our order as I think we had been forgotten about, soup was lovely and cakes were beautiful tasting with fantastic presentation

Lovely meal, shame we'd missed out on the Festive Menu as that was only until 6pm, but menu was still good. Service was great, staff very attentive. As a regular customer, not disappointed.

Love the carlton and food is always delicious with brilliant staff although when we went yesterday the waitress who appeared to be getting trained, had to be told three times what my daughter was having to eat, my fiance's starter was completely missed and when it eventually came it was the same dish but a main instead of a starter. Lack of spoons at the table as well. The other members of staff couldnt apologise enough to be fair but there did seem to be a few communication issues and waitress looked like she'd rather be anywhere else but there, not very smiley or cheery at all. However, every other time been lovely so won't stop us going in the future �

Had a lovely meal in Logan's last night for a special occasion. The food was delicious and the bar staff and servers were polite and welcoming. What wasted our experience was the rude waitress who walked up to our table with her notebook and just looked at us, no how are you? Or would you like to order?. At the end of our meal we asked for the bill and the same waitress while walking quickly past our table slid the bill tray on to the table whilst looking elsewhere, shocking customer service and would not make me want to return. She was older than the other servers and I felt should have known better. Some staff training required.

Stayed at the Carlton last night, dinner was good and service was fast however it was a lot of young ones servicing who didn't really have a clue, I ordered steak and they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked, walked away so fast I didn't have time to order my sauce so this had to be done with someone else, also ordered drinks and they came with the wrong drinks twice. But to top it off this morning we went for breakfast and we're offered tea or coffee and then they seemed to avoid us, we were in for 25minutes and everyone around us ordered a cooked breakfast but no one came near us for us to order one, we tried to make eye contact with them to get them over but everyone seems to be walking around in a daze. Was really disappointing. So we have left having no breakfast.

Booked dinner for before wedding reception for 6 of us . Food was below par really disappointed salad was wilted and no tomato or cucumber just a pile of lettuce in main. Wrong side dish of potatoes should have been chips with another main, monk fish tails @ £16.50 was a huge disappointment . Expect same standard as Lochside hotel however miles apart & unfortunately I wouldn't return . Disappointed for a Rad establishment ....

Very disappointed with service and food over charged which wasn’t sorted properly. Staff not friendly or helpful.....

Monday night around 7pm myself, partner, 2 friends and goddaughter booked to come for a meal. It took a few minutes for us to be seated but this was fine what isn’t fine is letting us finish our meal and then take 45 minutes after our meal to clear our plates away might I add we would still have been waiting more if my friend hadn’t made comment. Now the restaurant wasn’t busy and there was plenty members of staff on also but an excuse was made that the one waitress dealing with us had scalded her foot with boiling water shouldn’t members of staff step up and work as a team? We were going to stay for dessert but our spirits were dampened and we decided to leave. This is now the 2nd complaint I have had to do with the Carlton Hotel and now Logans Restaurant, customer service clearly hasn’t changed!
