Apologies for short notice, however, tomorrow morning, Friday 18th January, our playmats & toys will not be out in the bar as we have a small funeral gathering using the bar privately. Apologies for any inconvenience. Restaurant will still be open as normal from 10am :)

We hired the function suite for our wedding reception last year and I could not recommend it enough. Nikki, the events coordinator was excellent on the run up and made sure we had everything we wanted and we were left in good hands on the night - the staff were so lovely. The package we picked was amazing value for money, included a delicious buffet, fizz and beer on arrival, DJ, table covers, balloons, everything - everyone commented on how nice the venue was and could not believe the price. Thank you so much again, we love it here for food in the restaurant anyway and will be visiting again soon. xxx

Was there with my family(16 of us) on friday 20th July for meal and drinks.Nothing was a bother at all for the staff especially 'Betty' who served/looked after us all night, could not do enough to help.Thank you very much.She was gr8!Brilliant night had by all!

Thank you LOXs for being a wonderful venue. We had our son’s First Holy Communion here today, food and service was amazing. Nothing was too much for the staff who were so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and fresh. Would definently recommend and use again! X

Saturday 16/9/17 my wife organised a surprise 50th party for me

From the start to Finnish it was an amazing night

The function suite was amazing the staff were fantastic they couldn't be anymore helpful the food for the buffet was top quality the in house dj did us proud

The feedback from all our guests was 5 star

I'd personally like to thank the management and the staff you should hold your heads high the service provided was exceptional and I'd highly recommend your venue for future functions

Mum and I went yesterday for lunch. My. Had the fish and chips she said it's the best fish and chips she has ever had xx the service was brill made to feel so welcome xx thankyou for an excellent lunch xx we will be back definitely xx

Hi loved this place I'd been before with my two Daughters & Grandson had a lovely meal, I thought I would come with my friend for Lunch we got the senior citizens meal & it was great value for money & just enough leaving room for pudding I'm sure my friend will be back. �����

Had my son’s christening here on 8th April. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Buffet was excellent and the function suite was lovely. Events coordinator Nikki was an absolute star from the day of booking to the actual event. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Had my 50rh here last night just had a fantastic night was amazing staff where fantastic!! So helpful and nothing was problem �� food was fantastic so much and delicious!! Cocktails where even better I loved my birthday cocktail Marie’s 50 and fabulous peach mijito cocktail � yummy!’n danced the night away ! Thank you so much guys !!

Had my 40th Cabaret Birthday party here last night. From the moment I noted my intetest in the venue I was given 1st class treatment. I had my own planner within the venue who made sure all my needs were catered to, my party guests all commented on how lovely the food was and there was plenty of it and tbe staff before and on the night were top class. I couldnt be more pleased with Loks as a venue and I would certainly recommend it to everyone not only for functions but for the restaurant as we are now regular lunch goers x

Had dinner and then went through to the function room for an 80’s night for my sister’s hen do. Everyone had a fabulous night. Great food, great service and an amazing band! Just a little surprised that we were the only group in fancy dress but it seemed to add to the atmosphere �! Thanks to all the staff and the band for making it a night to remember for all the right reasons. Would definitely recommend and go back.

First time at loks for me tonight and the service and food is outstanding! Had a bit of bother with my steak but the staff dealt with it professionally and changed it for me with no bother at all and also kept my boyfriends food warm so we could eat together! Thank you so much for an amazing first visit will definitely be back and will recommend!!

Decided to go on a whim after googling places nearby and I couldn't be more pleased with what we got. I can scarcely remember a better meal I've had, staff were lovely and the food was with us promptly without feeling rushed. Already recommended to pals - will be back until I've tried everything on the menu.

Been here a few times now and each time I can't wait until the next to try something else from the menu. Food and service has been spot on every time, particularly tonight's salt and pepper calamari, it was the best I've ever had anywhere. Such good value for money, the best dining experience we have had in a long time. Long may it last, I'll most certainly continue to recommend you to friends and family.

Lovely venue for my friend, Claire’s 40th party. Great for cabaret she also had on small stage. Food was nice too for hot buffet. Only downside - wine by the glass was very expensive at £7 a glass. 2 drinks - large wine and Bacardi and coke - £13.20. Staff seemed pleasant too. Would recommend for similar event.

In the last two weeks I have attended a 40th birthday party and a 50th Birthday party. Function room is nicely laid out, creates a good atmosphere and staff very helpful and accommodating. On both occasions food was most enjoyable. Easy access to toilets which are very clean and tidy.

I've been for food before and its been ok. Yesterday my husband and I stopped in for a soda water and a fresh orange and lemonade. Was a bit shocked to be charged £4.25.

Have been to Looks a couple of times now, staff are excellent and attentive. Starter was excellent as was the dessert, the only let down is the amount of salt the chef uses on the main course. On a previous visit we actually sent the food back because of this and the manager said our comments would be passed to the chef, he clearly hasn't taken this onboard. Apart from the salt overload the food is very nice, however I'm not sure that I would return.

Great night only downside was paying £25 for a bland meal set menu with only one choice take it or leave it basically.
