Lomond Castle is situated just off the A82, the main route to Fort William, Oban, and the west highlands. It is only 30 minutes from Glasgow airport. The castle is an ideal base for anyone who wishes to tour the Highlands, or enjoy the local amenities which include; Golf, Fishing, Hill walking and climbing. The nearby Arrochar Alps include four Munros’s-mountains over 3000ft, and six Corbett’s, the best known of which is The Cobbler. Ben Lomond is only minutes across the Loch by boat. Loch Lomond is of course well known for water sports including wind surfing, Sailing, water skiing and wake boarding.
