I started my career back in the 1980s as a commercial Architectural & Engineering Modelmaker. Over the years I have gained many skills in working with a large variety of materials and have gradually drifted away from the commercial world into the artistic. I am a self taught artist. I have not been to any Art Schools and I'll never have any letters after my name but the artworks I create are from my heart and capture the spirit of the Craftsmen of yesteryear.
My aim is to re-create and present in miniature, the best of Scotlands Architectural, Celtic and Pictish heritage. I use traditional techniques and materials (as well as some modern influences too)
I offer resin reproductions of my original works as well as one off and unique original artworks. I am available for commission work and work primarily in Stone, Wood and Metal. If you can imagine it, I can make it ! ! !
