Yesterday my family and I, along with a friend who was visiting from New Zealand, came in for lunch and we were all very impressed from the minute we arrived at Longparke with the lovely location, amazing decor, super friendly staff and delicious food. It is obvious that the owners have put in a great deal of thought and care into creating their lovely shop and cafe. Even though it was very busy, we were served quickly and our food and drinks arrived promptly afterwards. The service was first class and the food superb. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Cheers!

User

Wow! Absolutely fantastic! Food was excellent - so obvious it’s fresh and cooked to order!

Great choice! Keep up the good work you will be very successful.

If I was to say one thing the restaurant is quite noisy/echoey! But did not spoil our visit!

Farm shop has a great selection - too many things I like!!!

User

We went for a late lunch with family and our two dogs on sunday and sat outside. Staff were fantastic, attentive and very personable! Food was delicious, burgers were lovely and the size of the baked potato was incredible! We will all definitely be back thanks very much!

User

This was repeat visit, once for breakfast and another day for lunch. Both times greeted really warmly and seated quickly. We also had with us a guide dog that was made to feel welcome and offered water. Service attentive without being intrusive. Very tasty homemade food both breakfast and lunch. No delay in food coming out despite it being steady.Nice decor. Would recommend.

User

Popped In for coffee and cake bank holiday Monday around 2ish . Seated no problem and as was busy the wait was no problem . However the heat was awful . No doors or windows open . We changed order from tea to a cold drink and sat outside .

Lovely coffee and cake . Good selection . Staff were very nice and obliging even although they were rushed off their feet .

Look forward to lunch or breakfast another time . But please let some air in open some windows .

User

Our coffee catch up & blether took us to Longparke farm shop today. From the breakfast menu we chose the eggs benedict to which the eggs were cooked to perfection, we also chose the eggs royale, again eggs cooked to perfection & the hot smoked salmon was absolutely delish Great to see it so busy & the staff very friendly & welcoming. Great way to start the day. Keep up the good work x

User

Lovely fresh food and great atmosphere . Quick service even on a very busy day. With the addition of kids play area (in progress I think) it will be the best place in town for families xxx

User

Lovely breakfast and excellent service. All the staff are so pleasant and helpful. The place was packed out on Monday but there was no wait for our food. The farm shop has some interesting stuff and the strawberries were delicious.

User

Just had a fantastic lunch here, great food, great service, great value for money and great choices. Nice and spacious and lovely wee farm shop. Definitely our new local lunch date, strong competitor for our usual favourite choice

User

I have seen the farm shop being built and finally opening and it has turned out beautifully. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly and that creates an amazing atmosphere. The decor is beautiful. And as if it couldn’t get any better, the food is exquisite! So tasty and fast service. Child friendly and over all an amazing place for a coffee and food. Fantastic and I’ll 100% be back

User

Have visited twice now - once for brekkie with my daughter, then for lunch with the family. Both times we were greeted and seated quickly, orders taken quickly and food served quickly. The food on both occasions has been very yummy! If you haven’t been for breakfast, do yourself a favour and get up there! It was delicious! And the veggie option was a delight! Lunchtime menu - between the 4 of us we ordered mac n cheese, pate platter, ploughman’s lunch, roasted veg panini. Also ordered sides of chips and onion rings. The food was hot, delicious, and well presented. We sat outside in the sun (mainly because the dog was with us - Water was provided for her). It was really busy but the staff were coping well and easily keeping up with the orders. The farm shop is really nice, good selection of meats, produce, butter, gardening stuff, alcohol, gifts etc. I reckon you’ll se us fairly regularly when we visit the area. I like to see a local business doing well and happily support this venture. Good luck, hope you stay as busy as you were yesterday, see you again soon.

PS - buy an ice cream on the way out! X

User

First time there today. The food was excellent - the bacon in the bacon & brie panini was to die for. The skin on chips are sooooo good, worth a visit for those alone! The lady who looked after us was lovely and the farm shop has some unusual wee gifts for sale. We'll definitely be back!

User

Excellent addition to local amenities...staff are So helpful and friendly...relaxing to the point that complete strangers talk to each other!!!

Great food..I was so impressed with lunch on Saturday that I couldn't wait to go back on Sunday for breakfast. Have LOADS of people talking about it!! Will be a regular.

User

This is my second visit. It’s a great place to come too. I love the decor and the farm shop. It’s got lots of lovely gift items aswell as fresh produce. The cafe is very nice. Lovely friendly staff and the guy who served us on the first visit gave my daughter an extra scoop of chocolate ice cream as they did not have any mint chocolate chip left. Unfortunately they also had no scones left so I just had a coffee. The latte was nice but I could do with it being a bit stronger. Today we came back as my husband was away on business the last time we visited. It took the waitress a long time today to serve us. When she did she forgot to give us menus. Unfortunately, there was no scones left again so if you want a scone I think you need to come earlier on in the day. I asked for pancakes and the girl who served us I think forgot. I ended up telling her to leave it as I had finished my latte and it had been awhile since she took the order. I really like this place but there is obviously a few teething problems. I am hoping they sort it out as it’s so handy for us. If you are not in a hurry then it’s a lovely place to come too. I also think it would be great if the kitchen was open a bit later. I think you are missing a trick as the place was still busy after 3:30 on both days and we would have ordered food if the kitchen had been open. We were actually there before 3:30 but it took them a long term to serve us which was annoying. The cakes are amazing, they have a huge selection. My daughter had the chocolate cake with Stars on it which was recommended by the waitress. It was delicious! We will

Definately be back to try something from the kitchen. I am sure service will get better as it’s early days.

User

Lovely place, nice food and could cater for gluten free. However, was disappointed that the kitchen wouldn’t pop my little ones food in microwave for 30 seconds...and then said it would be 50p for some hot water ... not great so wont be rushing back. As a regular cafe go-er I’ve never had these types of issues in the past. We also felt rushed like our table was needed and we were only there just over one hour.

User

Like this place a lot & food I’ve had so far was very good. On my last visit with friends we had a light lunch of sandwiches, cake & scone. I had a pot of tea and as it got a bit strong, I asked for a pot of hot water & was told this would be a 50p surcharge! I don’t think this is right at all as the right way to serve tea is to get a pot of tea & pot of hot water at the outset, that is the way tearooms serve tea. A lot of places just give you a pot of tea then when you ask for pot of water this is given no problem. I definitely think Longparke should drop the 50p surcharge as this will put people off. Otherwise I thought the staff were lovely & friendly.

User

Finally got a chance to visit today. After all the anticipation and excitement around it I have to say I was disappointed. We waited to be seated and when we asked if we could have a comfy seat, it was met with a hesitant "eh well yeah ok". We were then asked if it was just coffee we were in for and before we even had a chance to sit down we were asked what we would like to drink. No menu was offered and we had to go and see what the cakes were rather than being told what was on offer. I asked for a medium Americano, if you like coffee you'll be disappointed it was the size of a small in most other cafes and it wasn't strong. The coffee gateaux that I ordered was a lovely light cake but was lacking in the coffee flavour. The other people I was with felt the same. Overall a bit of a disappointment.

User

Arrived waited for 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. We're given seat and warned there would be a 30 minutes wait for food.. After 15 minutes someone took our order having served two tables that came in after us first. After 50 minutes the table beside us, who were sitting before we arrived said they could wait no longer for their food and left.. We then asked about our's.. to say they had lost the order.... After sitting pointlessly for an hour we left... Never again dont go there.... Complete shambles..
