About Loraimie Boxers

About Me - Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Starting out with my own dogs in adulthood, my love of Boxers saw me enter the world of showing, where I quickly caught the bug and love spending my time emersed in dogs. Most weekends you will either find me in the show ring at local open shows or travelling the length & breadth of the country for championship shows. I currently own 3 Boxers, Murphy & Harry, both 7 & and Evie who is 3. Evie is very much the show girl and has had great success in the show ring, being multi Crufts qualified each year since puppyhood. The name Loraimie comes from a combination of my own name, Loraine, and my husbands name, Jamie, and is my registered Kennel Club name.
Earlier this year saw me take my love and obsession for dogs in a whole new direction. Travelling to Hertfordshire I completed an intensive 2 day course studying the science behind how dogs learn. Following on from that was a 4 day practical course which involved puting all I'd learned into practice, planning & delivering classes, layout & structuring etc. Between those 2 courses has been endless reading & studying aswell as a 1 day Canine Aggression & Rehabilitation course, and 1 day Puppy Foundations course, not forgetting a Canine First Aid Course, completed in October last year.
