Lorn Archaeological and Historical Society organise a series of talks through the winter; summer outings - our aim is to foster interest in the archaeology and history of the area and help to increase our knowledge of the past in Oban & surrounds

Lorn Archaeological and Historical Society
We run monthly talks from October to March, mostly in St Columba's Hall; Oban with field trips during the summer.
Our annual journal, 'Historic Argyll', contains interesting articles on the history and archaeology of the area.
We also produce an Autumn newsletter giving details of the forthcoming lecture series and have an extensive library for the use of members.
