Squirtle is missing everyone and wants to know when all his friends will back to play with him (any parents know the answer to question?) Fingers crossed we will all be back to normal soon.....in the meantime David is painting everything in his path to keep himself busy and to freshen up the place.

Loudoun Mains Country Club Well folks we tried! but unfortunately we have to shut the Country Club! No idea for how long or what we will do but all memberships will be postponed and the swimming lessons will be cancelled with immediate effect until further notice! We intend to hold all the places in the lessons and keep all the class times etc at least for the next few months but after that we have no idea! Please remember to cancel any payments that you make to us as this is out with our control as we will not be able to make any refunds. We hope everyone stays safe and keeps healthy and as soon as we are allowed we will open the doors and start up again. Best wishes David and Elaine x

We're still open for business and working harder than ever to keep everyone safe. If you are planning to attend please follow all government guidelines and wash your hands before setting off and on arrival. Practice social distancing just as you would normally do if you were visiting a supermarket, bank or garage and try to avoid unnecessarily touching things. Stay safe and healthy.

With the ongoing COVID-19 situation at the forefront of everyone’s mind, we wanted to take the time to assure you that the well-being of our swimmers, members, visitors, guests and staff is our absolute priority. The commitment from Loudoun Mains is that we will adhere to the strictest possible terms of all advice issued by the Government and the W.H.O. as well as the protocols advised by local and international authorities. We have also, and will continue to, take further pr...otective measures above and beyond those currently advised. Currently, that advise is not to close our business but to continue to operate as normal taking additional measures to keep the public safe. To this end we would encourage anybody who has any symptoms ie a cough or a high temperature to follow the advise and stay home even although this may or may not be anything to worry about or even be related to COVID-19. All of our employees are fully aware of the current requirements and are undertaking the highest levels of health and safety procedure to ensure that excellent hygiene standards are maintained throughout every aspect of your visit to Loudoun Mains. We strongly advise all visitors to follow the guidelines issued by the government and wash your hands regularly and use the sanitising sprays provided throughout the Club in an attempt to slow or halt the progress of this virus. Additionally, to manage our response to COVID-19, we will be initiating daily communications and updates to our staff to ensure we remain fully compliant in our response. As such, you may see further communications from us as and when protocols are implemented in line with new advice. We will be following all developments on a daily basis with our full attention. Following up on the planned road closure in Newmilns this weekend we can confirm that there should be no or little impact on the swimming lessons. The road closure is to facilitate work in the centre of Newmilns and therefore only through traffic will be affected. (Traffic heading along the A71 to Strathaven). Any traffic coming to Loudoun Mains from Newmilns, Galston, Hurlford, Kilmarnock will at worst be slightly delayed so please allow sufficient time for your journey. If you are coming from Darvel then there should be a traffic convoy through a set of lights so this will take more time and we would suggest allowing more time for your journey. Travel safely and we will see you when you get here. David

Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had a great time over the Festive period. Just a wee reminder that the swimming Lessons start back as normal on Friday 10th January. The Club is open as normal from 9am to 9pm everyday and till 5pm on the weekends. Hope to see you all soon. David

Swimming Lessons Festive break
There will be no swimming lessons at the Country Club on the following days over the festive period:
Saturdays 28th December and 4th January 2020
... Sundays 29th December and 5th January 2020
Mondays 30th December and 6th January 2020
Fridays 27th December and 3rd January 2020
Lessons will return to normal from Saturday 11th January 2020 onwards.

Unfortunately Vanessa has been stuck down with a bug and is really unwell so she will be unable to carry out her classes tomorrow in the parent and baby swim. The pool will still be open and available for anyone who wants to attend at their usual time FOC of course. Sorry that we are unable to put on our usual class.
