My name is Lucy, a thirty-something who lives on the Scottish coast with my husband, young daughter and grumpy black cat. I also have a son who is no longer with us but lives forever in my heart. I started drawing initially as a way of coping with his illness and have continued to create art as a way of healing and therapy.
I love to draw using Prismacolor pencils and paint with watercolour. My art is mainly from my imagination, I love to draw faces and the eyes are quite often the main focus. My work often features surreal elements and inspiration from nature.
When I'm not making art, I love to write, listen to music and spend time in my kitchen cooking and baking. I love nature and the colour green and find spending time in nature and amongst plants the best way to recharge.
