User

Wow such an amazing place on our door step! Can't believe we have never been before!!

User

What a stunning beach... So clean, could see the ships out on North Sea 15* in February was a bonus, biggest sand dunes I've ever seen, although disappointed that the facilities (coffee shop toilets) were closed as it was fairly busy..

User

Took our dog a walk along the beach on Saturday and it was amazing so much senary😍 And what I especially loved was how clean and tidy it was there wasn't one bit of rubbish. Definitely will be going back!👍🏻🏖

User

Superb beach . We are on a family holiday and visited the beach for the day and we're going back tomorrow

User

Super, clean beach. Terrific views and great for walking our dogs. The cafe adjacent was brilliant too.

User

Simply the best place for a family with kids. Go and experience yourself higly reccommended.

User

Really love this beach, very very clean wide beach, feel like I'm on holiday abroad when I'm there. We were lucky enough to be there on a sunny warm day. Walked through the wooded area but was shocked at the rubbish people leave behind after them,,,, clean up after your BBQ'S please

User

One of my favourite places. A beautiful beach. Very clean and stretches miles. I would go every day if i could!

User

My happy place little piece of paradise

User

My favourite beach ever, love taking the dog and kids there to play.

User

My dogs favourite walk through the woods to the elephant Rock then back to the river for a wee swim

User

Lunan Bay is absolutely beautiful.

I come from QLD Australia where there are some of the best beaches in the world.

Lunan Bay could match any one of them.

OK, Can't account for the weather - it will do its own thing, but scenically it's on a par.

LOVE IT !!

User

Lovely beach for a stroll 🚶 or walking the dogs 🐶 nice & clean, bin for poo bags at entrance, even though some people don't make it that far 😡

User

Lovely beach clean and tidy spoiled by the dog owners that don't clean up there dog mess!

Was there at the camp site for a few day and everyone enjoyed it. My own dog enjoy it self. ( we cleaned up after) we will be back

User

Lovely beach as long as people take their rubbish home or put it in the bin ,great place for family ,kids and dogs ,help keep it clean

User

Just gorgeous. Miles of beautiful sand. And the Lunan Bay Cafe as at the top.

User

It's very idyllic and peaceful, with beautiful scenery and fabulous clean water. The beach is pristine and it also now hosts a lovely cafe where the service is great😊

User

Have visited this beach several times at different times of the year and it never fails to amaze me with it's beauty.

User

Had a lovely walk with my daughter and two dogs.Stunning beach ,only spoiled I have to say by some dog owners who are too lazy to pick up their pets poo!

User

Had a lovely bacon sandwich and a ginormous cup of tea. Would highly recommend.

User

Good place to walk dogs ,all regular walkers always carrying poo bags to bin in carpark, relaxing beach to walk.

User

Fantastic - such a beautiful beach and great for dogs - wish I could walk along it every day!!

User

Beautiful, we found this place by accident! It was just a shame about the irresponsible dog owners that don't pick up the mess they leave behind

User

Beautiful, idyllic and peaceful. Sometimes when we go we are the only ones there. Our own little piece of heaven!

User

Beautiful sandy beaches, you could be mistaken of thinking you're in Mediterranean. Great views across the coastline.

Huge stretch of beach that is dog friendly and no litter.

Plenty of car parking and other facilities. A great family day out.

Would recommend to anyone.

User

Beautiful clean beach on our doorstep. Plenty spaces for cars, just be aware that the car park closes at 8pm.

User

Beautiful beach.... often take the pooches there..... never disappointed with the view.... will continue......

User

Awesome night fishing looking onto Lunan bay, great place and lovely backdrop.

User

Absolutely beautiful , stunning beach, peaceful , fantastic cottage we stayed in , and amazing views could not fault it at all

User

40-50 Golden retrievers along with their various humans had a great day at the beach yesterday afternoon- and were lucky with the weather ( not that the retrievers cared but the humans were grateful!)

User

We're so lucky to have such a beautiful beach on our doorstep; Lunan bay. I walked with friends and our dogs on Saturday 27th May 2017 (bank holiday weekend). It was great to see so many families and a big group of youngsters enjoying themselves, having a barbecue in the woods on the dunes. I guess maybe, they were having a well deserved break after exams....

The next day, me and my husband walked the dogs early. We took our litter Pickens and a black bag. We do this occasionally.

But today our black bag kept splitting it was so full.

The young group from the previous day had left broken bottles, rubbish and even biology revision. If this was you, I wish you well in your exam and hope one day you might be a bit more mindful of others using the beach. Young children animals may have a serious injury from all the broken glass.

What chance do little ones have when their parents can't even take the babies nappies home or put them in the many bins provided in the car park.

Please take your rubbish with you, all the plastic is spoiling our marine life. Please think of others.

Oh and why would you bag the dog poo and then leave it on the ground can we not just bin that too ??

Okay rant over, let's all enjoy the beach

User

Visited Lunan Bay for the 2nd time yesterday having driven all the way from cowdenbeath . Had been to Lunan last year with family and knew I would be back

We were lucky yesterday to see a horse canter along the waterfront and a small plane fly close by

Only 2 issues for me

1. Irresponsible dog owners leaving their dogs mess on the beach and walkways

2. Huge sand dunes to navigate on and off the beach, can't be avoided but for me personally having mobility issues made it rather difficult to access and leave the beach ..

Absolutely adore the Vista on offer and will certainly be back very soon !!

User

The beach is beautiful but was disguised with people letting there dogs POO on the beach and not clean it up shame on you

User

Lovely beach and surrounding area. Great for everyone, and it's free. Nice place to be at any time if the year.

I wish some dog owners would bin their dogs bagged 💩, instead of leaving it lying around.

User

Really beautiful beach but such a struggle for those a bit older or less able to cope with the dunes to reach it

User

I was actually quite disappointed yesterday with the state of the beach, so much rubbish and it's not just been washed in by the sea. Have been going here since I was a little one , sad to see it that way.
