Lunnon-Wood Psychology Description

Introduction
My name is Dr Tracy Lunnon-Wood and I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. The role of a clinical psychologist is to reduce distress and promote psychological well-being in individuals and families and to do this through a collaborative and empowering process. It can be difficult to find the right support and help when you may already be overwhelmed by emotional, behavioural, physical and /or social difficulties. I offer a friendly, confidential and professional service that will provide psychological assessment, support, and therapy to children, families, adults and couples alike who may prefer an independent private clinical psychology service. I will also be offering a series of family focused workshops aimed at promoting and enhancing the psychological wellbeing of families.

About me
Since 2002 I have worked at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in London jointly leading the Cardiac, Respiratory and Critical Care psychosocial teams, where I have had the privilege of being responsible for the service design, delivery and psychological care and wellbeing of children, families and staff.
I am however no stranger to Moray, having completed my clinical training placements here during 1998-2001 and upon qualification working at Dr Gray's Hospital with the Adult Psychology Service and the Rowan Centre CAMHS service.
