Farms Not Factories
Pigs kept in in cruel, overcrowded and unhealthy animal factories are pumped with antibiotics just to keep them alive. In the UK a quarter of all antibiotics are given to pigs in factory 'farms'. Far fewer antibiotics are needed in high welfare farms where pigs have fresh air, sunshine and space to move around. Look for labels marked RSPCA, Outdoor, Free Range or Organic.

NEXT DORES COMMUNITY MARKET - SATURDAY 22nd SEPTEMBER: Cut your food miles and see what's produced in your own back yard. Stalls cover a diverse range from rare-breed pork to organic veg, home baking and local crafts.

FRESH PORK - Will be available on Saturday 22nd September. If you would like any items reserved just send me a PM and we will keep your items for you here ready for pick up. We will be at the Dores Community Market selling our items also so if you reserve anything we can bring them to the market on the day.....

We have now signed up to the Pedigree Pork Pledge. This shows we are helping the conservation work by breeding registered pure breed Oxford Sandy & Black Pigs. We are one of two people in Scotland who have signed this pledge. Please help us by buying our Pork.

Just sold all our Pigs Trotters for treats to give to working Pointer Dogs who point where the game birds are on the hill and then go out to retrieve them. These woof woofs are based in Aberdeen.

All set up ready to promote our Croft..... At Dores Gala. First one in 8 years.

We will be at Dores Gala tomorrow - selling our eggs along with advertising our Croft. Lots of exciting activities for all - why not come along for a fun day.

Pork Shanks - great for a wee roast. Liver/kidneys/tongue.
... Lamb Leg and shoulder on bone - selection of cuts however more available for 2 people. Shanks - great in a slow cooker. Kidneys - ideal for steak & kidney pie. Belly - great for stews/casseroles. Mince - maybe in a chilli con carne..... - 1 available.
Grouse - x3 now Pheasant - x4.
