Lorraine added some very special touches and helped organise the day taking the pressure off the family in what was a very emotional and upsetting time. Their choice of Celebrant (Drew Brady) was perfect and the day went as well as it could in the circumstances.
Death is a certainty and I would not think twice about using MLWilliams again.

Professional and knowledgeable service from initial contact to the cremation and reception arrangements. Staff were helpful (Lorraine was excellent), vehicles and staff provided by M L Williams were immaculate and the celebrant and ceremony was simply perfect.

The funeral car did not arrive in time to take us to church to greet everyone as they entered. A member of the family drove us, but by which time a lot of mourners had already gone into the church. We received verbal apologies from your staff on the day.
Apart from the above incident all other arrangements were made in a friendly and dignified manner.

Absolutely first class service throughout a very traumatic period. Mark Duthie in particular was professional from the moment we spoke on the telephone. His calming approach and his experience to recognise when humour was appropriate was comforting and reassured the whole family at the most stressful moments. I would also like to mention the driver of the car, who similarly helped alleviate the stress on the day of the funeral itself. I would highly recommend this company to handle all aspects of your funeral and can guarantee they will do so in the most respectful way.

I can't think of anything that this company could have done to make the experience better, right down to the chocolate limes in the sweetie dish. Death is the only certainty, but even when expected it can hit you in ways that surprise you. That's how it was for me when mum died. ML Williams made the process smooth and easy, all the while remaining dignified and professional. The one thing that stood out were the odd moments of humour from Mark. Having a sense of humour and knowing how far to go with it is important at sad times, at least it was for me. It helped, a lot.

We experienced particularly delicate circumstances concerning my wife's passing, with many, many unusual factors to be taken into consideration.
