Reviews
Figures published today show there were 934 drug-deaths in Scotland last year. This is the highest figure since records began in 1996, and represents almost 18 deaths every week. This documentary, produced for Inverclyde TV in 2015, argues the war on drugs is being lost, but there is an alternative and recovery is possible. The film includes an exclusive interview with former Scottish Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill who argues for decriminalisation.

THE COVER-UP CONTINUES
Police Scotland, in conjunction with the Crown Office, has confirmed it will not carry out a new investigation into the procurement of North Ayrshire Council's multi-million-pound Schools PPP Project, despite the evidence presented in the MacAulay Gibson Productions documentary The Only Game In Town.
Coincidentally, today is Day 1 of filming the follow-up to The Only Game In Town. More shocking revelations to come.

Scottish Parliament Motion lodged by Kenneth Gibson MSP:
The Only Game in Town
That the Parliament notes the allegations made in the MacAulay Gibson Productions film, The Only Game in Town, which relate to the North Ayrshire Schools Public Private Partnership project; is concerned that, according to the film, criminality may have gone undetected in North Ayrshire Council's procurement process, and believes that the proper course of action would be for the Crown Office Procurator Fiscal Service and Police Scotland to now conduct a fresh and full investigation into the matters raised in the film.
Excellent piece by Kevin Dyson in the Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald regarding The Only Game In Town. The story also features in the Largs & Millport Weekly News and the Irvine Times.
