Tonight we joined our colleagues from Banff who welcomed the Banff Coastguard team to spend the evening sharing information on work practices and equipment each service use. Great learning night 👍

Every firefighter knows the risks but we all want to go home to our families afterwards . Remembering Fleur who didn’t get home.

We had a lovely visit from Jackie from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Family Support Trust tonight presenting us with a lovely framed certificate of thanks from the Trust for our donation . Much appreciated

Tonight saw us donate the money that we collected from the very generous people of Macduff and Gardenstown when we were out over the festive period. A huge thank you to each and everyone of you who donated, gave us sweets and biscuits and lovely words of encouragement. But most of all to all the kids who braved the cold to come and see us. That made our Christmas .

Tonight we had a visit from June of Glendeveron taxis. She raised a fantastic £226.84 from customers donations over the festive period. June has donated the money for trauma bears that every fire engine in the Grampian area carry.
Thank you June , Glendeveron taxis and all her customers who donated while using her business .

With thanks to a very generous donation from a member of the public we used our pet oxygen therapy kit for the first time at an incident last night on a dog who had suffered slight smoke inhalation. Thank you

Huge thank you to everybody in Gardenstown who came out on a very cold night to see us. Very generous donations for charity and gifts for the crew as well as very lovely comments of support. But the highlight was seeing all the kids faces light up as we arrived. Made our night so thank you and see you next year .
