Steve Shepherd is the best car salesman I have come across in a long time. A thoroughly decent chap who I would be happy to do business with again. The manager on the other hand is too pushy and would have lost the sale if we had to deal with him

Please do not waste your time by going to Mackie Motors Nissan arbroath this is the second time I have been to them to buy a new vehicle my first review has been removed so this is my second First time around was last year when I went into the garage to trade in my vehicle for a new one the salesman was obnoxious and extremely rude so I left but I like to try and keep things local so this year I thought I would give them a second chance so I went to see them on Sunday to see if I could part exchange my two business vehicles for two new vehicles after spending about an hour and a half with the salesman we struck a deal signed some sort of paperwork and was told we would need to return the next day with a deposit which we was on our way to do the next morning when i was half way there I received a phone call telling me that they couldn't do the deal because they made a mixup with the price the salesman told me some figures what was completely different from the day before and some slightly different things on the vehicles which we already went through a couple of times on the Sunday so I don't know where this came from anyway we decided that we would like to still buy local so we decided to go back through and see the salesman to see what the figures would be he then told us he would need to go and see his manager he then told us he would try and sort something out with the deal to make it better and told us he would call us back later around 5 o'clock about 5:15 we called Him back only to be told that the price had changed again to considerably more than what he told us the second time which was not hundreds it was thousands so not an easy mistake to make I would say this garage is an absolute joke I think the salesman and the manager all need to go back to training on how to sell cars if you read some of the other reviews you will see what I mean I know this is a long winded review but we was so upset there was nothing else we could do I feel I need to state this in the review so other people that have to travel a distance to this garage will not waste their time like we did if you're looking for A Nissan I would try elsewhere as the old saying goes bad news travels faster than good news being self-employed we work for a lot of folk so needless to say we will be spreading the word on how bad this garage is PS please don't remove my review this time
