Customer service very poor. They seem reluctant to offer any help. Seem happy to leave you standing about for 30 mins even after you have spoken to them. Will be in no hurry to go back to this location.

We had a great experience buying a used Fiesta at Macklin. We were dealing with Derek who was very knowledgeable, approachable and seemed to genuinely care about us being happy with our purchase. We got a fair price for our old car and left feeling very happy with the service and value. Would definitely recommend.

Disgusting service from staff, manager extremely rude. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Tried to charge me £95 for 6 bolts to re-attach my catalytic converter not including labour and then admitted they bought the wrong part. When i asked who to complain to, the manager laughed and said " the complaints come through me anyway so you wont get anywhere with that". I should mention this was last year around February never thought to leave feedback before!

On receiving first class service on purchasing his new Ford car, my elder son recommended Macklin Ford, Glasgow. I took my son's advice (not too often that I do!) and off I went to Macklin. John, salesman, was very professional and knew exactly the second hand car that suited my requirements (I was buying for my younger son) and ensured the experience from start to finish was seamless. The experience was definietly more pleasure than pain when buying a car - so much so I am now doing the recommendation. My son is delighted with his car and mum is too as I now have my own back :-) Thank you Macklin.... I will definitely be back.

Colonic irrigation or buying a second hand car – the last 2 things on earth I want to do. But needs must, so my colon had to wait and I entered the sharp-suited, fork-tongued world of the used car showroom. Forty years of this has made me cynical! However, this time I found myself talking to a certain young man at Macklin Motors, Derek McNulty. He treated me like a human being and not like a victim. He was polite, respectful, informative, telling me about extras I could have but accepting it simply when I declined. No hard sell! In fact he delivered on every level. This was probably the best experience of buying a car I have ever had. This was almost pleasant. If this is the way Macklin Motors do their work, count me in. I wonder if they do colonic irrigation as an extra. Well done!
