Macklin Motors Nissan Glasgow Central

I bought my car from here. First time in Scotland and it was an interesting experience. The rooms are very clinical looking and the service was good. Three cups of tea and an Irn Bru!

I recently purchased a new car from this dealership and the service I received from start to finish was excellent, from sorting out the initial test drives (a standard one that lasted a little over an hour and then a 4 day extended one, which gave me a chance to let my family see the car, fit all the child seats and use it for my day to day driving) through to the sale and delivery.
I was kept well informed throughout the process and was then pleasantly surprised when my new car turned up a week earlier than expected.
A big shout out to Kevin, the sales executive dealing with my purchase, from the first encounter he was welcoming and friendly, answered every question I threw at him and never once gave any kind of hard sell.
Macklin Motors will definitely be at the top of my list when I'm next looking to purchase a car!

Had my Navara in for its first service. Staff very polite and friendly. Brought it in at 9am and was asked what time i'd like it back and 12 was agreed. 3hrs for a service fair enough. 3 o'clock came and still no call so I went in to collect. Despite recieving a video link detailing my report of a scrape on one disc the technician said the brakes were fine and had a good bit in them I was told at the centre they are ordering new brake pads and calipers as they were badly rusted so would need to return a second day to have these changed. (Brand new massive Nissan dealership/service/MOT centre has no spare brakepads for a Nissan......efficient)
This was "ok though" as it was my fleet provider that would pay..... (Something i've noted with most garages, cars managed by a provider are easy money makers)

So a basic 3 hr service on a vehicle less than a yr old lasted 6.5 hours with a second day required to change brake pads/calipers that were fine but then became badly rusted within a few hours.

I did get a complimentry hoover/wash albeit quick..

I gave it two stars as I had a fair bit of time hanging around so got a look in the GTR..

From walking into the showroom to the completion of the sale of our new car we were relaxed and enjoyed spending our money. There was no pressure only attentive staff, our salesman Ameer could not do enough for us, from showing us the car we wanted to the conclusion of the pick up. The Manager too was available and met us after we made our choice. We found at the previous showrooms (not Macklin Motors) management was never available. Keep up the good work.

Bought a brilliant 63 plate insignia in January from well beck road,staff were amazing and very helpful,wish now I had held of and went for brand new insignia maybe they can get me into new one thanks Macklin motors definitely use again

Macklin motors advertise 0% APR for five years on used cars however when you get into the figures for a £12000 car you get 0% on £5000 and the other £7000 is at 16% APR so they just double the APR on the second half! So the advertisement is just a load of rubbish!

We bought a second hand car from Macklin Motors, which was a bit of a risk as we live in Chesterfield. The Sales Rep sent us a pretty thorough video of the car to give us confidence to reserve the vehicle and make the trip up to Glasgow. There was some minor body damage which was pointed out in the video which Macklin agreed to pay to get sorted in Chesterfield ; likewise with some minor mechanical issues for which it was booked into our local Audi dealer. So far, very good.

It was a great & friendly service from Callum Moss. Would love to recommend Macklin motors to all my friends and family

Clean and tidy,good amount of seating available,good deal's to be had from knowledgeable and helpful staff. A delicious cup of latte coffee also went down very well.

An absolutely useless garage , who seem to try to do things as cheap as possible rather than resolve the issue, Would NOT recommend

I Have to say the staff within the Service department have been great, from Paul the manager and on many occasions Jenny and Anne. They really went above and beyond when dealing with Nissan UK regarding a part. I would recommend this dealer based on the service dept alone as after all once the sale is done these are the guys you may deal with for you services and warranty. Thanks again. Lovely showroom also.
