We guide and manage project work from hotels to hospitals, bridge coatings to building fireproofing, decorative finishes, office, factory re-fits and dilapidations and innovative projects like crane refurbishments, visitor centres, climbing walls, road bridges, tunnels and railway structure maintenance.
Our portfolio of work, clients and work is varied, but with one common thread, delivering high quality finishes, in the right material to the agreed standards, on the agreed timeline and at the agreed costs.

University of Glasgow – Railings Project
Maclean & Speirs carried out the following works on behalf of the University of Glasgow, we removed the existing railings from Sir Charles Wilson Building as part of their refurbishment. At our yard in Linwood, we removed the old lead based paint through a wet blast. Once completed we carried out a dry blast of the railing prior to applying a 3 coat paint system. As you can see from the pictures below, the reinstated railings have added character to this stunning converted church.
