Given the continuing high gusts the 0830 Public service run has been cancelled.
Normal service will resume with the 1018 service run.
... All morning school buses have also been cancelled and will operate in the afternoon.
Sound of Barra Ferry 0715 departing Ardmhor and 0810 departing Eriskay have also been cancelled. 0915 departing Ardmhor and 1010 departing Eriskay also cancelled. Review at 1030 for later sailings.

W32 Barra & W33 Public Bus Services - Saturday 15th February 2020
Due to the forecast wind conditions, with potential gusts between 66 - 69 mph and average speeds in excess of 50mph, Public Bus Services will be cancelled for the morning.
It is anticipated normal service will resume in the afternoon when conditions improve.

Given the continuing wind and in particular GUST conditions in excess of 55mph, the potential forecast of overnight snow until 11am, for tomorrow, Tuesday 14th January 2020, ALL Public Service Bus and West Side School runs have been cancelled.

The public service runs at 1018am and 1320pm be will be kept under review in the event of an improvement in weather conditions. This post will be updated if there is any change to scheduled services.

Given the forecast STORM conditions for tomorrow, Monday, 13th January 2020 ALL Public Service Bus and School runs have been cancelled.
... Similarly no buses services will be operated in Uist by DA Travel, and in Lochs, Harris and Ness areas operated by Lochs Motor Transport, MacDonald Coaches, South Harris Coaches and Hebridean Minibus Services.
It is anticipated all bus services in the Western Isles will be cancelled.
All schools in the Western Isles are closed.
A Met Office Yellow alert remains in place.
The ferry to/from Barra to Oban is also cancelled.
The Sound of Barra Ferry remains on AMBER ALERT.

Given the forecast conditions for tomorrow morning (Tuesday, 07th January 2020) with wind speeds forecast in excess of 50mph, gusting to 70/75mph, I have taken the decision to cancel ALL Public Service Bus and School runs, operated by MacNeil Coaches, in that period.
