Yet another fantastic show. Kids and adults loved it. My son was ill and did not want to miss it. It really cheered him up. I agree with other reviews that there is not another panto as good in the pantosphere. Well done Johnny McKnight. Only time I have been disappointed was two years ago when u were appearing elsewhere. Stick to the macrobert.

User

What a lovely experience the Macrobert Centre is. We saw an early evening uproarious new version of 'Whisky Galore' in the well appointed filmhouse followed by a snack and wonderful coffee in the café/bistro area and then off for a viewing of 'Handsome Devil' in the wee theatre. A great time was had by one and all.

User

Went with friends to see The Steamie which was absolutely brilliant. Have seen the live performance before and also on tv and it never fails to satisfy. No matter where you sit the view is just perfect. Great theatre, great show.

User

Went 27/12/17 sitting in seats when family came in said it was thier seats lks at tickets our were for 28/12/17 asked if any spare seats at front desk fully bkd but thanks to lady at front desk who ran about trying to get us seats we ended up in the house seats which we very much appreciated always love the pantomimes at Xmas here thank you again 😁

User

We were there on the 29th of Dec sitting in the same seats we have sat in for a fair few years .

The panto was on top form as usual would not go anywhere else now .well down to everyone from kiosk staff to performers . looking forward to next year already .

User

Visited on Sunday afternoon with my seven year old son for this year’s panto - chick whittington.

Loved every minute of it. Great costumes. Good catchy songs to get the audience involved.

Been going to Macroberts panto since my son was three and he is so mesmerised from the opening scene.

Keep up the good work and great writing! Roll on panto 2018/19

User

Safe drive stay alive is on yearly here for all the school kids and adults please come and see it it will make you want to keep your kids safe or make ur kids realise they can say no if they dont think its safe to go in a car thankyou

User

Panto Chick Whittington was excellent, original and loosely based on traditional theme.

Writing was witty, topical and for all levels.

A bonus for me is the seating leg room, far better than almost any other Theatre certainly more comfortable than any of the major Edinburgh or Glasgow Venues.

User

It was the most funniest pantomime i've seen in a very long time. My two boys aged 10 and 7 loved it too. Lovely theatre, very clean and the staff were very friendly. If I'm in Scotland again at Christmas time will definitely book.to see another pantomime at the Macrobert Arts Theatre

User

I went to see panto 6 times this year. My daughter Iona was in young cast for the 2nd year running. I loved it. Sadly Iona is too old now to do it again , it's a great experience for the young cast, my daughter learned a lot and made lots of new friends. Now that the season is finished we are going to the Tron to see johnny McKnight in action!

User

Had a great night at The Steamie.

Although i did not think it was suitable fot the two children sat near me a boy of about 6 and a girl of about 11 who would not sit still and sat on the back of her chair. The man behind her must of had a poor view.

User

Great to have the Macrobert so close at hand. Perfect venue for a whole range of events. Just watched The Greatest Showman and loved it. Staff are so helpful and attentive. Keep up the great work.

User

Great place - best fish & chips around campus! Excellent shows especially the live streams from NTL - ROH...the dementia screenings are really helpful to assisting, in my case - my own family...and yoga classes <3 win for everyone. The variety in age groups who attend the classes or events makes it a strong hold within our community. I always prefer the MAC over a lot of different choices here in Stirling!

User

Fantastic day out as always. The staff at Macroberts always make us feel welcome and the panto this year was outstanding. Highly recommend it to all.

User

Chick Whittington is a fabulous panto.. one of my group members (Bunty) of Contact the Elderly group said she had not belly laughed like that for a while.. Panto not just for the young.. Bunty is 92

User

An inexpensive place to see many forms of entertainment which would cost x times more in many theatres. Seating is well laid out giving everyone a clear view of the stage

User

My mum and I were at the performance of The Steamie last night. We had a great experience at the Macrobert Arts Centre and thoroughly enjoyed the show. We will definitely be back in the future.

User

I love the cinema at the Macrobert and would always choose it over one of the bigger ones. But please, for the love of God, could you desist from selling noisy food? The clientele may be less objectionable than in some places, but crisps are noisy no matter who is eating them.

User

The theartre itself is wonderful but our experience of the cafe bar was shocking our member of staff disappeared during service and someone else had to finish our order .The plate of chicken broth was scandalous it was basically pearl barley risotto.
