A progressive punk band that strays into folk, melodic hardcore and spoken word.

Like Luther Vandross backed by AC/DC
John and Mikey met in 2006. Callum joined us in 2007. Since then we've been in several bands and gone on many musical adventures in search of "absolute tunes", of which DMS is the latest incarnation.

The Moods are a ten-piece collective of producers, poets and musicians from the Northwest of England. Combining drum & bass, reggae, hip-hop and EDM, The Moods’ mighty music sparks off a contagious need to dance, underpinned, with real grit & substance. They are a band with plenty to say, singing and rapping with raw passion about the important stuff like war, famine, love, life and death. This is music for the head & heart, “They will make you dance, and then they’ll make yo...u think”.

The Little Kicks are a band from Aberdeen, Scotland.
Combining soaring vocal harmonies and infectious guitar hooks with the distinctive warmth of analogue synthesizers, The Little Kicks create an exciting melody-driven sound, as engaging on record as it is live.

Looking for a local indie/rock band to support the Little kicks on the 15th of June. Throw your name up if you are interested.Looking for a local indie/rock band to support the Little kicks on the 15th of June. Throw your name up if you are interested.

Covers like you've never heard them before, unless you have had the chance to see these guys before....in which case you know how good this night is going to be.

The DUGHOOSE SKA band is an experienced and talented group of musicians that enjoy all things SKA. They play classic SKA/ 2 tone tunes by bands like the Specials and Madness, with some cleverly thought out tunes from established artists coupled with some original material they guarantee to have any venue SKANKING from the first note.

Be there early, you don't want to miss these guys.

With this year being the year of the 10thanniversary of Swamp Radio’s first gig, the band has had plenty of time to develop their unique musical style and approach to performance whilst remaining a very underground band. This experience has created a very fluid approach to writing which means that songs can come from any angle or any party. These core ideas are then taken by the band as a whole and arranged, developed and saturated with the ethos of the band. “Lay yourself wi...de open and leave nothing on the stage!” A modern amalgam of classic/progressive/punk rock.

Originally envisioned as a 5 piece, nature quickly ran its course and pared Sons of Onan down to the fundamental elements of a power trio. 3 instruments. 3 voices. Underpinned by a rhythm section with 10 years’ experience of playing together and with a naturally rhythmic guitarist with a legacy involving several other previous Inverness bands, the sound which has developed over Sons of Onan’s year or so of jamming to date is surprisingly enough one that is rhythmically complex and rich. Completely fresh, with no gigs to date, the band cannot wait to unleash themselves on the public!
Edinburgh based quartet, Gypsy_Circus are creating a storm around the Scotland’s capital. Their vintage Blues roots combined with a modern raw indie/rock inspired hooks compliment their buoyant attitude. Aaron King (vocals), Michael Mackay (guitar), Shaun Alderman (bass) and Calum Thomson (drums) have recently released their latest single ‘Notorious Creatures’ and are certainly a band to catch early as they are one of our bands to watch out for in 2018.'

Most impressive venue in the UK, let alone Scotland, the Highlands or Inverness.

Three tiers, each offering music for most tastes and encouraging everyone to give everything a listen. Great local beer and (last time I ate there), great food.

Staff are super nice and despite not living in the Highlands for 7 years, I'd still consider this my "local", since it's the place I most frequent when I visit (or simply played there enough to justify the term). :-)

Mad hatters in particular is the perfect rock venue, with just enough of a grunge feel, the perfect space - always busy feeling. Seeing bands there is a real intimate night out (and playing there many times, it is my favourite venue to play).

I live near the sister pub in Brixton and even found a wallpapered local paper with a tiny write up of an old band above the bar. Other than that, the Brixton one is a bit shit.

User

Always the venue i hit when im out in inverness !!!! Scottttlund all wrapped up in a food, booze and 3 leveled music house. Roll on tomorrow nite ;)

User

A great small we'll run venue with friendly staff.

User

Love this venue for gigs - just wish they'd sort out the lead vocal mike so that you can actually hear the main vocalist and improve the promotion of the gigs taking place there! Aside from that it's a fantastic place for smaller bands, staff are always friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend it highly enough for bands.
