What a lovely little tearoom! I booked for my daughter to have an afternoon tea and it was well presented and good value for money.



The place has great character and the deco is perfect.



I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the other meals on offer.

Went for lunch today, excellent choices and at a great price. For two courses and a drink for two people came in at just over £16. We had a sandwich and a toastie, made freshly to order and served with a smile, food was delicious, bread lovely and soft and the fillings tasty. Then the cakes...as expected they were melt in the mouth. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our visit here today for afternoon tea, the food was amazing. Very good value for money. We ordered a gluten free afternoon tea and to our delight it came with a delicious sandwich selection, cakes, biscuits, cupcakes. Some places we've been and asked for gluten free, there's never much choice. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning. A really great place to eat and child friendly to!!! Highly recommend �

I took my little girl here yesterday when we were having a girly day out, loved it!!! I had a bagel with bacon and scrambled egg and it was lovely and we both especially loved our candy floss cake!!!!! It was Delish, we will def be back!!! Oh and one thing I noticed the staff were fab so helpful and attentive. Thanks mad hatter we will see you soon.

Fabulous from the quirky decor that immediately evokes the mad hatters tea party, the fantastic range of cupcakes, scones, meringues and sliced cakes, a great selection of hot food and drinks plus it caters for gluten free and halal needs, what more could you ask for.. oh that's right marvellous inviting staff the cherry on top of the proverbial cake will hurry back soon x x x

My husband and I came across Mad Hatters Tea Room yesterday while in Blackburn so called in for a snack. We where impressed by the wide variety of food on the menu. I opted for the soup and sandwich combo, choosing the home made tomato soup and Lancashire cheese sandwich and my husband a toasted tea cake. My soup arrived piping hot, which for me is great as I can't stand Luke warm soup and my sandwich had loads of delicious cheese on. There is the lovely choice of cakes and cup cakes on display which

we have yet to sample and no doubt will do on a return visit, as it is lovely to have somewhere to go for coffee and cake, that isn't part of a large chain of coffee shops.

The only reason I haven't rated 5 (and it is me being really picky, wish I could score 4.5) is that as a tearoom it would be nice to have loose leaf tea. Will absolutely be back and loved the decor if the place
