About Madanyu
Madanyu is a growing social enterprise addressing the challenges of providing computer education to children in the developing world.
Madanyu Description
Madanyu symbolizes the promise of prosperity that rests in all children regardless of their background. We are not a coding school, but enable children of all backgrounds to gain the basic computer skills to be successful at realising their dreams. Madanyu empowers impoverished children in the developing world to have access to computers and better education using Raspberry Pi.
Since its launch in 2014, Madanyu has been committed to facilitate computer based education in the most remote settings of the world with the use of low-cost and low-power computing solutions. Madanyu began as university outreach programme led by University of Cambridge researchers, Aftab Jalia and Maximilian Bock, with the support of India based NGOs and schools, the Raspberry Pi Foundation and the EcoHouse Initiative.
