Main Street Playgroup

Hi everyone!
Please be aware that there has been two children who usually attend playgroup with confirmed cases of chicken pox. Chicken pox is airborne and can spread rather quickly. It will usually begin with cold like symptoms and then spots that blister will begin to appear (this can sometimes take around 10days after the cold begins)

Busy making our Halloween masks today! 🎃😸 We will now be doing our pumpkin carving next week at our Halloween party 🎉

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a fab time over the October holidays 😊 Playgroup is back on tomorrow as normal 9.45-11.45am. This week we are doing some lovely Halloween masks and carving some pumpkins to get us into the Halloween spirit 🎃 Next week we plan to have a Halloween party 🎉 ( Thursday the 1st of November) if you planning on attending this please let us know for numbers. The children made some awesome Hedgehogs with our autumn leaves this morning! Yummy cake and fruit for snack today too 🍰🍌

Lots of shapes and colours with our play dough today 😊 we also had farm animals, musical instruments, stickle bricks and lots of other great toys out!

Busy day today at playgroup!
We had lots of toys out, did puzzles and had lots of dressing up fun. We also made our yummy fruit kebabs! 🙂

Hi everyone.
Due to recent events we have decided not to open playgroup tomorrow for health and safety reasons. There has been a very big fire that broke out in the buildings nearby the Main Street church. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. We will be open as normal the following week (20th September) 😊

This week we plan to get messy! We will have a range of messy play activities to explore our senses. Some of these will include different kinds of water play, sand, foil painting, jelly cutting and rainbow spaghetti!

We had lots of fun today! 😊 The children all made some really lovely bird feeders and pictures! A brilliant effort from all the children (and the adults 😂)

Great turn out this week! Sorry for the delay the toy cupboard keys.. but we got there in the end!
This week we'll be making some of these really cute bird feeders to take home for your gardens. We'll also doing some bird arts and crafts too 🙂

My 2 year old son has been coming here for a while now and totally loves it! There's always lots to do and a range of activities on offer for different ages. Lots of yummy treats for snacks too.

The two hour sessions are great.

A really friendly environment and the girls running it are lovely.

There's often special events (like parties,trips etc) arranged for the group which is fab �

I don’t work Mondays so had been looking for something fun to do with my son. This is a great playgroup with plenty to do, what’s even better is it’s on for 2 hours so makes it worth while leaving the house for. The snacks go down very well with plenty options & for £1 it’s amazing value for money.
