Mainetti Hong Kong recently participated in a beach cleaning campaign organized by the Aquameridian Conservation; Education Foundation - Robert Lockyer. Over 2000 local volunteers from other companies joined this event too.
Known as Turtle Beach, the area is one of the few nesting grounds in southern China for endangered sea turtles, and is clo...sed to the public between June and October – a measure introduced a decade ago to protect the area from human impact.
The ultimate goal of this event was to clear out the rubbish and micro-plastics along the seashore so as to provide a clean and safe place for the green sea turtles to hatch their eggs and prevent their babies from eating plastic bags, mistaking them for jellyfish.

Mainetti Suzhou celebrated Mainetti Children’s Day on 15th June with the children of Suzhou Peizhi School.
Love filled the air on that day. To promote healthy lifestyle among children, Mainetti donated some bicycles to the School.
Our colleagues also prepared traditional rice dumplings with the Children to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival together.

A team of delegates from both Jedburgh and Wrexham sites undertook the second part of their intensive Lean Boot Camp Training in Jedburgh.
The team learned new skills and developed knowledge on various lean techniques which are being applied for business improvements in the Operations Departments.

On Sunday 27th May, Mainetti Jedburgh held its annual Children’s Day event at ‘Born in the Borders’, Jedburgh.
54 children had great fun Grass Sledging and enjoyed a Roller Disco. All the children and their families had a lovely BBQ in the sunshine to round off a sunny day out for all.

Center for Hope and Safety (formerly Shelter Our Sisters) is dedicated to assisting victims, and their children, of domestic violence by turning fear into safety, helplessness into strength, and isolation into hope.
