Maisha Indian & Seafood Restaurant

Very friendly staff, brilliant ambience and delicious food. The a la carte menu was very good value for money, and the student menu was even better. Music was A*.

Good Indian food. Cost is moderate. Good for group party

This was a lovely hot stop within St Andrews town centre. The arrival was pleasant and welcoming. There was was four people in the party and all of us enjoyed our meals. That's when the experience stopped, when the bill arrived we were charged £10.85 for poppadoms which we did not ask for and when we questioned this was met with hostility and ignorance from the staff. They removed the charge however left us feeling like this was our error. Overall good food but poor service !!

Absolutely disgusted with the service and manor of the staff in here, we were a family of 15 with whom 6 were children. They passed a sizzling hot plate over the head of a baby in a pram.... clearly health and safety doesn't come into the equation. I personally ordered a chicken tikka masala but it looked like homemade tomato soup with chicken pieces in it. They served French fries instead of ordinary chips, if I wanted French fries I would have went to a fast food take away. Completely over priced a chicken nugget and chips is priced at £10.99. I strongly advise no one to attend this place. Completely Ruined my birthday!!!!!

Slow on a Friday night. Avoid weekend peak

Seated fine, 20 minutes to be served, 55 minutes for meal to arrive. 95% sure they served our meal to wrong table who are now upset.

A distinctly average, even surreal experience. Firstly the décor and layout of the place is plain weird, and where we were sitting was small with an air of uncomfortable silence. The food wasn't bad, but at that price point I would expect more. Underwhelmed.

Delicious Indian food! I recommend takeout! Their takeout deals are great, especially for students! The dinning areas are quite small.

They have a large menu but only one vegan option. Still a lot to improve.

Indian variety is amazing. Fish and chips or scampi could be significantly improved (but why search for that in an Indian/Bengali restaurant)
