Went for my Birthday Dinner with partner and son - lovely meal, fine wine, very friendly service. It was a joy to experience, will definitly be back.
They are fantastic in here , fab service, also gorgeous food also wide range of catering for food intolerances, after a meal in here my boyfriend proposed last night :) 💍💍💍💍❤️❤️
Recently rediscovered this place. Such good value for money and great menu - it was hard to choose! Went with a group of 10 and service was excellent! Couldn't fault it
Nice relaxing cute bright cafe in the middle of the hustle bustle of Morningside. Lovely Amanda saw to our booth and brought us a delicious meal. Will be back on next visit from California.

Le Bistrot is my all time favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. The food is delicious and the staff utterly fantastic! Yesterday I was gluten free and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me..checking what I could eat and even providing gluten free bread with my soup. I cannot speak highly enough about Maison Bleue's sister restaurant!
It was my first visit today and I’ll definitely be back. Had the broccoli and cheese soup and cod which was amazing and a bargain at £9.90. Lovely staff too x
It was just so tasty ! ( boudin noir, terrine, seabream, rabbit ) great value for money, exelent friendly staff and wine . It was a first for me and already planning to go back �

I came in here for brunch with my family a few days ago and the staff, music and food were the best therapy I could have asked for on a much needed holiday. I found it hard to leave and will definitely be back. Thank you for the beautiful food and the kindness in your service. ;0)
Hidden gem in Morningside. This place gives a cosmopolitan feel with tasteful decor and comfortable seating. Friendly, efficient service with delicious food. Good vibes, special thanks to Gareth and the rest of the staff. Great value for money and would highly recommend a visit.
Got a late table (9:15pm on Friday) and the service was as good as you'd expect earlier in the evening; friendly and attentive without being over bearing. Nice varied menu. Chose calamari surprise (the surprise be good that it was perfectly cooked and very tasty) followed by Creole chicken which was just nicely spicy from the chorizo. A well priced wine list had plenty to choose from. Final bill was also a pleasant surprise.
Overall an excellent addition the the Morningside restaurant scene and somewhere I will certainly be visiting again.
Food and service are faultless. A relaxed atmosphere. A place to go at anytime.

Cheerful surroundings, pleasant staff, very tasty food! I had rabbit for the first time in over 20 years, and it was simply delicious, in a creamy mustard and button mushroom sauce - real comfort food. Looking forward to a return visit, soon I hope!
Been here a few times now and it's always quality (and warm if you get a spot in the sun or next to the heater). Favs are the haggis eggs benedict, beef bourguignon and surprise calamari, and the service is always warm and friendly. 2 thumbs up!
A cute little place with delicious food and staff that accomodates all your needs and food allergies. The two course dinner offer is a bargain and the ribeye is too die for!
