Monday's workshop with the very lovely Nadine & Herbet was an extra special one. Having known Nadine since we were at College together many years ago, it was an absolute pleasure to help her and her Fiance' make each others wedding rings. Nadine & Herbet wished to make nice wide, solid rings, a similar version to a silver one, Herbet currently wears on his little finger. And so, from these two chunky strips of creamy 9ct white gold, they carefully formed and crafted two beaut...iful matching wedding bands from start to finish, in one whole day. They decided on a rough textured surface and a smooth polished finish inside for both rings, which they applied right at the end. Beautiful, simple and unique :-) With the wedding just a couple of weeks away, I hope they have a truly wonderful intimate wedding ceremony and a fantastic party afterwards :-) Huge Congratulations to them both!

Louise & Ross thoroughly enjoyed their wedding ring making experience with us, which was given to them as a wedding present at the start of the year. The lovely pair, perfectly formed and finished two absolute beauts for wedding rings for each other. Both oval shaped in creamy 9ct white gold. Ross chose a nice satin finish for the outside of his ring, which really shows off the gorgeous colour of the gold. Louise went for a beautiful polished surface, the opposite finish to Ross's but still equally as beautiful. It won't be long before the rings are in their rightful place next month. We hope they have a truly wonderful day!

Huge Congratulations to these two lovelies who tied the knot on Friday! Last month, Jessica & Mauro came over from Switzerland for the weekend and made the most beautiful silver wedding rings, which were then cast into platinum. They added matching texture to the surface of the bands with a steel ball hammer. Satin finished and polished on the inside, they will be looking just beautiful on their fingers. We are so looking forward to seeing some of their photos of them on their magical day :-)

Another stunning pair of wedding rings made here at the MYOWR studio :-) This time, by the lovely Leah & Ross. Leah opted for platinum and Ross, palladium. Both very tough metals, they crafted their rings in silver on the day. Then off they went to be cast into their chosen metals. And just look at them! Can you guess which ones are silver and which ones are the platinum and palladium ones? Leah & Ross decided to get all four of them engraved with different inscriptions on which we love! All four are just beautiful :-) We wish them all the very best for their big day in June :-)

These beautiful wedding rings will brighten up this dreich day here in Edinburgh today! Last Saturday, Abigail & Ross spent the day making their very own wedding rings for one another. From these two strips of silver oval wire and 9ct white gold rectangular wire, they crafted THE perfect rings. Both in a beautiful polished finish, they are now safe in their box, waiting for the big day in June. We hope Abigail & Ross have just the best day ever!

Wow! Just look at these stunners for wedding rings! Made in 18ct rose gold by lovely local couple, Carolyn & Tom, who will be wearing these pretties very very soon! Both Carolyn and Tom decided on the D shape profile and both in a beautiful high polish to finish them off. They spent the day making their rings in silver, as you can see here. Then off to the casters they went, for some transformations. They will also get to keep the silver ones they actually made too. Always good to have a back up! :-) We do hope they have an amazing day and wish them so much happiness for their future together :-)

Another fabulous pair of rings to share with you, made by East Lothian based couple, Emma & Martin. The Inverted D shape is what Emma & Martin decided on. One of the more unusual wedding ring shapes which we love. This shape is either very comfortable or not at all, depending on your finger shape. Luckily for them they felt just as good as they looked :-) A wide 6mm with hammered surface in 9ct rose gold for Martin and a slimmer smooth 3mm width for Emma, which sits just lovely next to her engagement ring. With another thing ticked off the list, we wish them both the best of luck with the rest of the wedding preparations and hope they have an amazing day when it comes :-)

2019 started with some pretty brilliant workshops and here we have the last one of our January lot. Rachel & Craig took a special trip down from Aberdeen to spend the day crafting the perfect wedding rings for each other. And what a beautiful job they did too :-) For Craig, Rachel made a satin finished D shaped ring in creamy 9ct white gold. Craig carefully formed a slim oval shaped band in highly polished silver, which was then transformed into platinum. Not long now before they are placed on each others fingers! We wish them lots of luck and happiness for their big day and beyond :-)

Just look at these two stunning wedding rings! Abi & Blair took a trip through from Glasgow to make these together. Blair produced a beautiful D shaped ring in shiny 18ct white gold. This complimented Abi's engagement ring perfectly. Abi formed a lovely 6mm oval shaped band in silver. Palladium was Blair's choice of metal, so we sent his silver ring off and had it cast in just that. Now, a few weeks later, the beautiful bands are back with their makers and ready and waiting for the big day! We hope Abi & Blair have the best day ever hope they enjoy showing those beauties for wedding rings :-)

What a day we had on Saturday with these two lovelies! It doesn't seem like long ago that Kirsten & Phil visited us for a consultation, where they got to try on some sample rings and decide what they were going to make for each other. A few months on and the rings are made and looking very VERY shiny indeed! Phil made Kirsten a slim D shaped ring in 18ct white gold to compliment her beautiful sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Kirsten beautifully crafted an oval shaped band in a 6mm width. They couldn't look more perfect! We hope they have the most wonderful summer wedding right here in Edinburgh and we wish them much happiness for their future together :-)

We made our wedding rings yesterday with Donna and cannot recommend it enough! It is such a personal experience and you appreciate the work that has gone into making them! Donna is lovely and friendly and very patient! I will be telling everyone who will listen that they should make their own wedding rings!

She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and even provided us with a lovely lunch and a bottle of fizz. We are so glad we got to make them, it made so much more special and personal. Donna even sent us a wedding card! Plus the finished products look fantastic xx
