Mallaig Pool & Leisure

Mallaig Pool & Leisure (formerly Mallaig & District Swimming Pool) are a charity and social enterprise, run by a board of volunteers who are drawn from the community. The manager and dedicated staff ensure the day-to-day running of the facility. Our aim is to provide every member of our community – young, old, and in-between – with opportunities to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. While benefiting the local population is our first and foremost goal, we will of course also give a warm welcome to any visitors who come through our door. Our facilities include a 20 x 10m swimming pool, sauna and spa and a gym. We also provide swimming lessons for all ages, as well as regular wet and dry side fitness classes. In addition to all this, we have special sessions such as our active lunch club 'Wise Craic' (for our older and wiser customers) or youth nights for the high school students. Fun Hour with floats and inflatables is a great time for children and families to enjoy the pool. In addition to our regular activities, such as fitness classes and swimming instruction, we also run a number of sport related events throughout the year. The most popular one is the Road to the Isles Half Marathon, but there is also a Santa Dash, our health information day 'Beat the Blues' and many more.
