we were first ones in for lunch at 12.00 had a good selection on menu then a few extras on the Specials board. we had Tapas for 3 and it was fantastic. great authentic Mexican flavours. our waitress was very polite and friendly and made sure everything was to our liking. would defo recommend and will be back to try more dishes and probably a few Margaritas next time

What a fantastic place! Travelled all over the world and ate tapas many many times! This is great. Relaxed and friendly environment, delicious in every way. Table filled to the brim with food just how it should be. Brilliant staff serving refreshing margaritas. Thank you so much! We will be back.

Went on our last evening of our annual trip to St Andrew's

We were looking for something different for my partners birthday and it didn't disappoint

The food was amazing as were the staff and the price was even better we both ate royally for less than £30

I'd recommend mammacita to anyone who loves tasty food at reasonable prices

Loved the food, which is ordered and delivered like tapas. Good portion size and everything was cooked fresh. We all loved our dishes including the kids who really liked their build your own tacos � . We had the Irn Bru Margaritas which were delicious and highly recommended. Definitely going back!

I went to the restaurant this evening with my bridesmaids as I get married tomorrow. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They also went above and beyond and served us fizz on the house because of the special occasion. I felt so special, it was a lovely touch. Thank you guys! The food was delicious. Especially enjoyed the calamari and fish tacos. Would definitely recommend the berry frozen margaritas also � thanks guys we had a great time xxx

Had an amazing birthday meal on Tuesday. Thanks to the wonderful Lukasz and his team for making it special. The guacamole is to die for!!

Had a lovely meal and chilled evening here on Saturday night with Los cantineros playing background music. Hadn't been for a mexican meal before but we had a nice chap explain it all to us and help us decide what to eat. Between the two of us we had the chicken wings (not too spicy ), ribs, 2 different kind of tacos one portion (3 small shells) with steak and one portion with pulled pork and one portion of smoked chicken and jalapiino taquitos ( 2 small cigar shaped ). We had a pitcher of frozen magarita and a few other cocktails which were very nice. Next time I will try a few tequilas. Over all a lovely experience and will go back again.

Food was excellent, beer was cold and the staff were friendly. Will eat here again for sure.

Came in last night and it was fab! Ordered a few dishes to share with my friend and they were lovely, fresh and arrived quickly! £3.50 frozen margaritas were amazing... especially mango and passion fruit! Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing Mexi-Tapas, Ribs that melted off ts bone and were spicy and with a sweet/sour pickle salad, taquitos with a fantastic smoked chicken and chilli filling and last but not least some pulled pork street fries served at once which just works, love the concept, the decor, the friendly staff and efficient service



Starter/mains is so 20th century

Lovely surroundings and ambience. The waitress was very attentive. Food was pretty slow which is a negative point - for lunch they do need to speed up. It's not like we ordered a huge amount or anything that wouldn't be ready to go. We were told beforehand that the food comes out when it's ready rather than waiting for both starters or both main courses - that's fine and not a problem at all but lead to confusion when I was given my main and a dish I didn't order. At that point it became clear my starter (jalapeno corn bread so not much prep needed) had been overlooked with the result I didn't get it until I was way through my main. Nevertheless, Mr. Me's food was terrific but I was cautious not knowing how spicy things would be and chose the steak tacos which were pretty tasteless. The churros made up for that though.



Pretty authentic Mexican dining experience but I would amend the menus to make them clearer to read and perhaps add spiciness indicator for those of us who do not like food that is too hot.

Food is amazing only thing that lets this place down is service. Staff is lovely but always waiting too long on the food and always bring the food out at wrong times. I started my main meal and had nearly finished it by the time my partner got his. Won’t stop us going back just think the whole place needs to be organised a bit better when it comes to service.

Came here when it was the Grill House - but have to say the new decor and furnishings are a big improvement. The food was excellent and we struck it lucky that the Margaritas were only £3.50!!! The choice of food was really good and it was all very tasty. The service was also very good. We will be back !!

Visited the restaurant last night with some friends who had never been before. On arrival we were quickly seated and the waitress was very attentive in taking our drinks order. The restaurant interior is lovely with a cool vibe. Our food order was taken by the waiter who was great at explaining how everything worked...he gave some good recommendations from the menu. The only issue we had was the price of the pitchers of magarhita which are rather on the small side compared to other venues we've visited and at £18 very overpriced for what you get. Perhaps this needs to be looked at by the company as it left us slightly disappointed.

Had lunch there yesterday. Limited menu. No chilli no flautas..... Staff excellent. Music was rubbish asked staff to turn it down. Very helpful. Desserts were lovely so wefe the dishes ordered. Cornbread not proper cornbread.

Fantastic concept poorly carried out. We were advised of the street food tapas eithos but not the fact the food arrives when ready. Feta and salsa fries arrived a good 10 minutes before the second bowl then another long wait for the pulled pork'burger' which wasn't a burger.... just pulled pork on a roll. And finally after my partner had finished my tacos turned up.... food was ok but for a Mexican themed street food restaurant it lacked spice. Thankfully the hot sauce condiments came to the rescue. Not sure I'll be back any time soon

Sorry, but while the food is good, there are the very basics that make a restaurant... I ordered glass house red, when we got the bill it was the most expensive on the menu.... the specials cost 50% more than normal menu with no indication of price. Whilst we have no problem with paying for quality, when costs are hidden it leaves a unpleasant experience.

Was here yesterday with my daughter for a evening meal service was ok and decor nice however we left dissapointed! To begin with we weren't sure what was what on the menu as we haven't been before, the description from the waitress wasn't accurate. Everything we ordered came with jalapeños on the top! Also all the food, starters and mains were served at once?! Table for two was quite small leaving no room whatsoever to feel comfortable, had to ask for mains to be taken back as surely they would have went cold when we were eating starter. Burrito type main had little to zero filling and far too greasy, and the water was warm. Shame as I Was looking forward to dining there.
