Which one shall we make next?
Summer and holidays is when l try new patterns. There are so many dolls and animals l would like to make but sadly not enough time. So please help me choose - which is your favourite? The designer is the very talented TheLittleHookCrochet from Australia (photos are used with permission).

Apparently summer is arriving in Scotland shortly. It might not be as hot as in our kangaroo Ariel’s native country but we will be Happy with any longer listingu sunshine.

These sheep are a gift for a mother to be, to decorate nursery. I hope she likes them.

Congratulations to all graduating students, especially those at Heriot-Watt University.

What does one do when the weather turns out to be quite bad during holidays? Crazy dudes of course! Kamila swapped the tropical weather (33C) in Poland for a rainy Scotland and made these two. I called them Dan and Sam. What would you call yours?

One of my favourite amigurumi designers is Monika Miszczuk. I love her cute little sheep dolls. This one was a mother gift because who said dolls are only for little girls?

Unicorn is now with Manfred’s friend so we can show it to all of you. Have a lovely weekend!

Thank you to Out of Hand Scotland for beautifully printed business cards, thank you card and washing tag. Supporting local businesses is very important to us and if the service is as wonderful as theirs it is a real pleasure to be working with.

Have you ever had a pet rabbit?

Continuing on the pink theme, here is a wee pegasus, perfect as a room decoration. As you can see Manfred has quite a few mystical friends.

Do you remember our aqua coloured moose? A lovely lady requested a pink version for her daughter. I think it looks really sweet, do you agree?

What do you think of our facebook cover? Hand drawn by an amazing artist in USA. I am thinking of turning it into a postcard.

These little creatures are part of a group of 15 different characters. We made them in two sizes. The ones in the photo were made by Kamila and we turned them into key rings. Perfect to be attached to a bag.

What do you think of our wee chameleon? After making so many dolls it is time to make a few animals.

COMPETITION RESULTS I would like to say thank you very much to all of you for participating in our competition. I never expected to receive so many replies, likes and shares. It was really difficult to choose the winners and believe me, I’ve changed my mind so many times. But after a deliberation here are the results.
The blond doll will be called Gabriella as suggested by Lee Neudahl Smith. I think the name reflects the French vibe of the doll (interesting fact: the name m...eans woman of God in French).
The brown haired doll will be named Matilda as suggested by Hayley Baxter. When l hear the name l somehow think of a happy girl curious of a surrounding world. Perhaps that’s because the original pattern was for a doll with butterfly wings.
As promised, there are additional 3 winners, chosen completely at random from everyone who made us really happy and liked our page: Steph Holloway, Gillian Spalding and Kaley Walker.
Congratulations to the winners (please get in touch to redeem the gift voucher).
No doubt we will have more competition in the future so please keep an eye open.

Look who is helping us choose the names for the dolls: our new friend, lama Camille. She is made with soft, furry yarn and she can remove her flower band when she gets bored with it.
