Mint aero rocky road ice cream 🍦😍
Yummy ice cream. Popped in our way back from Linlithgow Palace for a takeaway treat. The kids were delighted to be able to order themselves, our server chatted with each one of them. Ice Cream was in a range of flavours the hardest part was picking which ones to try. We all loved the ones we picked.
Went here for the first time for a breakfast treat. Food and service were excellent. I will no doubt be back.
Was here yesterday for lunch and a catch up with my family . Food and service was excellent . We all had a toastie which came nicely presented with side salad and coleslaw . Coffees lovely and hot which we find isn't often the case in many cafes . Cosy and warm with burning stove as a beautiful focal point . Can't wait for our next visit !
Took our first visit to Mannerstons today. Slight confusion with our order meant we waited a while, but great service from the staff and manager when we realised the order had gone missing, and the best French toast we’ve had in a long while at the other end. Thank you very much for the gorgeous food & for looking after us so well when you’re clearly incredibly busy!
Quite often go along as I stay in Linlithgow....since it was mothers day my son and husband and I went along for a light lunch.....they had the ploughmans lunch and thought it was excellent....I had the chicken toastie which normally I wouldn't do as I only really like cheese toasties.....but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it and I will definitely have it again.....I also had a scone with jam and clotted cream which was really nice....
One of the best burgers I’ve had in my life. Nice farm shop too.
Myself and my partner went today for lunch and it was lovely!! We had a chicken burger and it tasted amazing!! Ice cream was delicious and we have now booked the ice cream cart for our wedding!! Can’t wait! x
Massive thanks to Stuart for making me the most delicious vegan scones. It would be great if they were to become available at all times. Dobbies and John Lewis have so far not obliged, so Mannerston’s is definitely my favourite place for coffee. I’ve always found the service good and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Thanks again for your very excellent customer service.
I attended Mannerstons Gin Tasting event last night with friends. The manager, Stuart, did a fantastic job and kept 60 gin lovers happy!
Always a pleasure to go to Mannersons, but this was something a bit different. Well done.
First visit today for Mother’s Day treat, good was amazing and everyone very very friendly, could not ask for a nicer place to go for a treat
Courgette cakes! Best ever cake:D and so green meaning healthy right? :D awesome staff!
Amazing ice cream and the best burgers
Nice staff and clean, though & 3.50 for 2 slice bread, butter and jam bit pricey
Coffee & scone were lovely but it was so warm we were a bit uncomfortable so we couldn't sit for long, it was a hot day granted just would have looked to have stayed a bit longer.
This place is only adequate but would like to be more.
Staff need training and food needs to be improved.
The only reason a 4 star is because I have been in a few times and it was good. The last time I was in the service was terrible the lady who served handed the couple next to us breakfast and told us breakfast had finished and we asked if she could check as the pan would haven literally still been hot! she came back and said no that's breakfast done. She never asked us what we would like instead or made any recommendations she just walked away and we ended up leaving without eating
Visited at the weekend and was very disappointed. Waited ages to even be acknowledged when waiting for a table. When the staff eventually showed us to our table we waited 15mins and were still not served so left.
Its a shame because we were looking forward to cake and a coffee. Maybe not having to wait to be seated would make service faster.
Was not impressed at all today. 1st visit this afternoom & we wont be back. I went with my friend & her baby for lunch, we were seated at a table with the pram which wasnt the best seat as there wasnt much space for the pram to sit without it being in the way for other people, we had asked to sit as a different table before been seated her but were told no.
We then waited a good 15 minutes for someone to approach us to take our order, meanwhile atleast 4 people had been served before us & were seated after us. We got up & took our service to the garden centre next door which was lovely. The customer service was terrible, such a shame to as we had looked forward to coming here for a while!
Waited an hour for soup and ordered a cheeseburger and ask for JUST cheese on the burger another 40 minutes waiting after thst the burger finally came and it was slavoured in sauce and fell to bits won’t be back
