The management and staff of the mansion house hotel are absolutely devastated to announce that we have been told today that the hotel is now going up for sale... we apologise to all brides/grooms and every single person that has been let down... and despite being slated over social media... we did not know the hotel was about to go into insolvency.... if you have paid any monies/deposits to the hotel then please contact the receivers on the contact details on previous post....... we as a staff team remain united and strong but are all looking for employment and if any local businesses can help, please contact us via private message on this page so we can support the team into new employment... we thank everyone who has contacted us all personally through phone calls and messages showing their support through this absolutely devastating time.... x

Yesterday I enjoyed a luxurious spa experience at the Mansion House Hotel. Staff greeted me on arrival, arranged my lunch for later on in the day. Courtney the therapist was just a delight and she paid good attention to ny requirements. The front facing staff were most attentive and ensured I enjoyed my time there!

Would just like to thank Lynnie and all her staff for a fabulous Prosseco afternoon, thanks for making it special and accommodating the none drinkers, who also had a fab time. Really was great fun, love that there is variety, food was awesome drink flowing and birthday girl had fun 😜😜

We had our small family wedding here last summer. Everything was just perfect - even the sun had been organised to show up!! Lynnie was first class, going the extra mile to ensure our day went like clockwork. The quality of the setting, the food and the friendly efficient staff all contributed to making our Big Day great!

Was just here for a 2 night stay with my partner, we got this as a gift for our engagement. Couldn't fault the hotel one bit, was such a nice, relaxing weekend away. Staff were very welcoming and professional, room was stunning and food was amazing and we were never away from the spa. Would definitely return and recommend to other people. Thanks for a lovely stay �

This is a fabulous hotel, well situated for exploring this coastline and area. The food is exceptional, I loved every mouthful & had to eat slowly to make it last. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful.

Stayed two nights and was great. Room was everything I could want. Clean and modern. Only had breakfast and this was good and a full choice on offer. All the staff I dealt with were very polite and helpful.

Receptionist was great and we had room 1. Fantastic sleigh bed with a good nights sleep, and the breakfast was cooked to order nice and hot, you can't fault it. Leisure facilities were ok and was really busy though a bit on the small size. Overall a very nice hotel with good people running it.

Phoned this morning to book a spa day to take my niece for a special day out shes only 8 and having a bad spell at school. I am so overwhelmed by the kindness shown and the caring of the lady i spoke to just want to say thank you and let you know how much she will appreciate her day out. X

My daughter had her pamper party here for her 7th birthday. Can't recommend the hotel enough. The staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent and the girls thoroughly enjoyed their pamper. Thank you all very much

I am staying here the room is very cosy, the room & bathroom is spotless and is up to a really good standard. The staff is very friendly and happy to help I would highly recommend it.

Here for our daughters wedding. I thought the hotel was beautiful and the staff were lovely. Great food, great service, lovely rooms, amazing beds. Totally recommended.

First ever prosecco day & defo won’t be the last. Fantastic atmosphere brill entertainment & magic prosecco!! Thank u for a fab afternoon x

Took my girlfriend away for the weekend we stayed 2nights was a lovely hotel & building in itself, room was very nice too only downfall was the food quite over priced for just basic stuff which was just dry & tasteless...

Had a lovely stay-over, in a beautiful building. We chose this location because it was cheaper than Premier Inn and it looked very traditional. It had a lovely traditional feel to it and the four poster beds were a real treat. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was down to a couple of minor points that could so easily be addressed bumping it up to 5 stars. Lose the laminated door numbers and use fitted sheets that actually fit. So minor but it's all in the detail.

This is a beautiful building trying to be special. It's like stepping back 100 years. We felt it missed. One had to whisper in the dining room, or everyone else would hear you. The staff were doing their best to play the part, and were certainly friendly and helpful. The piped music - which I liked - was completely wrong for the ambience they were trying to create. If I was 98 years old, I would probably love it, but I'm not, and I didn't

I took my daughter & 4 friends to a Miss Glitz Spa package for her birthday yesterday. They loved the use of the pool, sauna etc and enjoyed their lunch. My rating is down to the spa experience. The package says you get a mini manicure and pedicure with polish, they all got polish but no manicure or pedicure. The birthday girl wanted 2 different colours of polish and was refused, which I'm very disappointed at, what difference does it make if it's 1 or 2 colours, the same amount of polish would have been used. My daughter & friends were happy but they are only 12! I will add the 2 ladies who did the spa treatments were lovely & made the girls feel relaxed & comfortable.

Essentially, I think £145 is reasonable if you get what you pay for but we didn't.

Well never got to stay at this hotel due to Red Amber Alert weather and disappointed with the Hotel as only a small covering of SNOW in Elgin. Well Glasgow and roads to Elgin was not. Extreme weather conditions people stuck on M80 for 13 hours and Police Scotland telling us not to travel. My 15 year old son gave this two night overnight stay for my husband and I to stay and feel it was a lot of money but he saved up. Understand they have a cancellation policy but feel might have been able to come to some kind of agreement. The only agreement COME or Lose. Decided with weather so bad would not travel. Very disappointed with Hotel Management. Sorry would have loved to see hotel but not to be due to not so understanding management at hotel under the extreme circumstances. Sorry to my son lost his savings to see his dad and I get a weekend break away never mind the hotel needed the money.
