Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Beautiful views of the Scottish countryside from the windows. Enjoyed the heated pool, which was very relaxing. Towels are given on arrival. Good showers and changing area. Would definitely recommend!

Staff were very friendly. Room was nice and large though a little warm (but they did leave a fan in there). Did a nice cocktail and the whisky selection is pretty good... oh and it's out in the countryside looking out onto a lake and is really picturesque.

Visited mat Hall today with my daughter for a day spa with facial and full body massage. I had a young lady called Jenny who was absolutely wonderful. Definitely one of the best treatment I have had. My daughter was also delighted. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. Will certainly visit again.

Great place to stay with lovely views! Room was very spacious and room service was great! The foyers are beautiful and a wonderful place to have breakfast in! Pool facilities were great too, pool was heated to a nice warm temperature which is a plus when it's cold outside!

Overall a lovely experience. Went with friends for the 'Time out' spa experience. Treatment was lovely as was therapist. Spa facilities were nice as were the outdoor surroundings but certain aspects of the building were a bit tired and in need of a tidy up/lick of paint. Compared to other 5* spa experiences I didn't find this one to be quite up to the same standards but still lovely all the same.

Brilliant spa overnight with my friend for her birthday. Room was a decent size. Shower was absolutely amazing in the room. Massage was good. Dinner was really tasty although the cheesecake I had for desert was average. I've had much better. It is incredibly expensive for drinks which was somewhat expected.

The spa is beautiful and relaxing. I had a very enjoyable day with afternoon tea. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Went for a birthday treat with my friend, we had a spa treatment each, a cream tea and lazed about by the pool. Perfect! As the computers were not accessible at the time (shutters to the computers wouldn't open) there was a mistake on our food order. But when staff realised they didn't charge us extra for the salad we shouldn't have eaten - and got a free glass of bubbly as an apology. The relaxation room is exceptional. I felt like a new person afterwards!

Lovely staff and treatments were good. Foyer when we arrived at the spa was very, very cold and we had to spend some time there completing forms. Certainly not warm enough to take our coats off. Rooms were nice but as I was having a pedicure, I was surprised to find there were no specialised chairs for this procedure. My therapist was on her knees for the first part and then I lay on the table for the rest of it. Never had a pedicure lying down before! Really expected Mar Hall to be more state of the art.
