My dad Sam asked me to write a review on his behalf as he doesn't have fb. He absolutely loved the course and Mark and Jim were extremely helpful. He's been plastering for years after self teaching and they taught him things he never knew. He learned so much and is extremely grateful. He would recommend the course to anyone.

Literally just finished this course today and loved every second of it, from never holding a hawk and trowel in my life to being able to skim polish and finish a wall to a great standard in such a short time is incredible. Mark and jim were extremely patient and both have a wealth of knowledge and experience which they pass onto you to help you become the best you can be! Thanks alot guys really appreciate this!

Just finished the back to back double weekend skimming course with Mark. Happily recommend to folk, has us skimming to a good standard by the end of it. Good trainer, good facility and good booking system with Karen. All the best for the future.

Just finished the 4 day (2 weekend course). Was great from the start straight into it and got us to a good level for people that's never done it before. Mark was great giving us tips and any advice we needed well recommend to anyone.

Straight into it from the start.

Great advice and help from Mark.

Had us all plastering to a great level after the first day.

Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about it.

Can't wait to get started on the house now.

I didn't imagine I'd get to the stage of plastering I did in 4 days but with with marks help I was able to achieve more than I thought possible. If recommend this course to everyone.

P.s a little help.. the training centre is behind William Hill bookies through the metal rail gates to the left. I got lost on my first day.

Just finished a 5 day course with Mark at the training centre. Great course and I can't believe how much I have learned in only 5 days. Mark is a very good instructor and very patient. I feel confident now I can carry out plastering jobs on my own now. Craig and Jim also passed on some great tips to make things easier. I would recommend this training centre to anyone wishing to learn to plaster. Great team all round thanks for a great week.

It's been a year now since I done marks course. I done the 10 day course. It was great I learned alot. Don't think you are going to be professional after this course. It takes years to master it. I have got a painting and decorating company so picking up plastering jobs was easy for me. I'm lucky enough to have fully qualified plasterer that I sub contract work to and do jobs with him to give me practice. I can skim walls and ceiling up to around 15m2 in one set and to a good standard. I'm still trying to pick up my speed.



constructive criticism-

I think the course should have some stick on light switches and sockets. As when I came to a switch or socket I didn't really know how to go about.



I think more time should be spend on dot dabbing and bonding.



It would be helpful to get a DVD to take home that goes over everything involved in the course. It's alot to take in over a short period of time. So it would help refresh your memory.



Don't let this put you off , as I said plastering takes years to master. Its alot of training mark has got to squeeze into 10 days. I think a 15 day course would be something to consider starting.

The course was first class along with the instruction. I would fully recommend anyone interested in learning new skills in plastering to book a course.

I highly recommend doing the 5 day course! I learnt so much in a short space of time. Been praised by my work mate who has plastered for the last 30 odd years saying that I may be slightly better than he is and he rarely compliments anyone! Can't thank Mark and Jim enough, money very well spent!

I did the weekend course with Mark, great guy and teacher, took his time to show me how to mix plaster properly to the right consistency, how to control my trowel and hawk Cant believe, how much I learned in 2days, now able to plaster and polish with confidence.



Marks training course is well worth the money, very highly recommended.

I was very surprised at our results by the end of the week. This course is perfect for giving you the basic knowledge and confidence to complete easier plaster work. A week after the course i plastered my artex bathroom ceiling and it came up great! Highly recommend the courses Mark offers! Cheers!

Had a fantastic 5 days at the training center, Willie is a great teacher and I have learned a great new skill even if I only use it around the house tidy up some areas, I would highly recommend this course to anyone as it is very hands on.Thanks guys had a great week but may need another to recover.

Done a few days this week with mark,yes your not gonae be up there with a timeserved plasterer right away as expected but what he teaches you is the knowledge,theory n foundations startin off in a small room to a perfect Finnish then it's upto the individual to progress from there with a bit of practice, would highly recommend his training,great facilities n great set up
