Work has been ongoing over the weekend in relation to the travelling community who have set up in Market Deeping. Colleagues and the team have made a number of visits to the site, and we are liaising with LCC to work towards a solution, as currently the legal powers of removal do not sit with the Police. The situation is ongoing and we do appreciate the public’s concern around action which we have been made aware of. Please do report any incidents on 101 or 999, and we would like to reassure you that we are doing all we can to be as visible in the community as possible and to support LCC in their actions.
