Markham Primary School are running a free Digital Literacy (using IT and Internet) course. The course is run on a Tuesday Morning 9.15-11.15 in the community centre. This is a 12 week accredited course and open to the community. We need a minimum of 8 people for the course to go ahead and no more than 14. The course is being run via Risca Basic Skills. The course will teach you the essential skills to begin computing and to carry out day to day tasks with confidence. The cou...rse will cover:

We would like to wish all our customer old and news, a happy and healthy new year. The café will be open again this week on Thursday 10-1pm after the Christmas break, the gym is closed at the moment due to lack of support, but we hope to open again in the near future. Hi all markham community centre are looking at new ways to raise money for a defibrillators and cage for the outside of the centre. We have managed to raise half of the money needed but are still short and following the tragedy after the Cardiff marathon where two men died of heart failure we would like to push this forward and would like to have the defibrillators by Christmas. We are looking to hire the medium Lee Gamson to hold an evening at the welfair club. If you would be interested in something like that could you please like and share. Thank you sharon
