Martina Cannon Ball - Music

This page is to inform you of all my musical activities.

Martina was a late bloomer to the music scene, it all started 4 years ago when she started working in the Alehouse bar in Clerk street where there was an open mic. Initially Martina would jam along with her melodica and harmonica's, and eventually got up to sing. This was a slow process of building confidence and this eventually led to Martina hosting her own open mic nights, encouraging others who needed a platform and a place to network and meet like minded people. This then led to Martina starting her own band, The Mean Reds, who gigged all over Edinburgh regularly, and played music festivals, Eden, Kelburn, and Linkylea. Martina now hosts her own sessions called 'the red sessions' currently in Harry's bar at the West end, putting on acts from all genres of music. Currently recording an album which will be out in the very near future!
